Tera and Sébastien were backing a cake since today was Sébastien 25th birthday. His first birthday with her and so far it's going great
"Pass me the whipped cream" Tera orders Sébastien who stares at her blankly, she notices and stares back " What?" She asks
"I don't think you're supposed to put whipped cream right after the cake is out the oven" Sébastien raises his eyebrows and Tera chuckles. Theses are both their favorite moments, together with no drama just them laughing and having fun
"Oh sorry I didn't know that you were a master at baking" Sébastien covers her face with his hand and she smiles, she removes his hand and kisses the back of it
"I love you" she says, he pulls her closer to him and kisses her. The kiss wasn't sexual but sweet and tender as he pushes his tongue in her mouth exploring every corner of it. They both pull away to catch some air
"I love you more" he answers and they both chuckle. After a while they hear a knock on the door and they both look at each other as fear started to seep in
"Are you expecting someone?" Tera asked and Sébastien shook his head 'no' they both walk towards the door, Sébastien in front of Tera
"Stay behind me" Sébastien whispers just loud enough for Tera to hear. He slowly opens the door and was met with two police officers one of them being officer Brown
"Mr Cross how are you?" Brown asked and Sébastien remained silent "we are here to politely ask you to leave with us to the police station" he continues and Sébastien just stared blankly at them as his anger grew
"Why exactly?" He finally spoke and it was pretty clear that he was pissed
"We were told that you were abusing one miss Willson" the other officer spoke and he looked exhausted
"That's obsorbed I would never" Sébastien looked offended but mostly hurt just the thought of hurting Tera made his heart break, he loves Tera and would never even think of doing such to her
"That is why we need both of you to come with us" Brown looked at Tera up and down before looking back at Sébastien and he looked very irritated
"Fine, we'll go. But we are talking our car" the officer looked at each other contemplating weather to agree or not. They reluctantly agreed and Tera look at Sébastien "trust me" she nods and they were off to the police station. They were taken to different interrogation rooms and interviewed separately
"Miss Willson, has Mr Cross ever hit you, or had sexual activities with you without your consent?" Officer Brown asked and Tera could feel herself getting more annoyed each second she's away from Sébastien
"No he has not. He has treated me with respect and care, he has never and will not ever put his hand on me" she trys to assure him that Sébastien is a good man but he wouldn't listen
"You don't need to fight for him Tera, this is a safe place" Tera rolled her eyes at his words how stupid can he be
"Who is feeding you all these lies?"
"That's confidential information miss Wilson" Tera can feel her body shake and she breaths heavily
"So you believe who ever this person is and not me, how is that fair?" Brown reminded quite as they hear a knock on the door and it looks like a man with causal clothes on
"Brown there is a man with the name of Steve saying he need to talk to Miss Willson" and that's when Tera realizes, it's Steve who sent that false statement
"Let him in" the man nods and sure enough it's Steve, Tera walks up to him and slaps him across the face
"What the fuck is wrong with you Steve?, why would you send that false statement" he looked dead in her eyes and clinched his jaw
"Tera it's all true. The way he dragged you out the house the other day and he assaulted you" She started breathing heavily and her vision blurry
"You-you...you lie, he loves me...you-you lie" and with that she collapses as everything goes dark
"Mr Cross what a pleasure to meet you, I am officer Lewis" Sébastien just stared at him and he looked more annoyed than ever "Okay, did you hear about Mr Ford Andersons death" Sébastien tried to keep a straight face but he was scared what if they have something on him
"I have heard rumors but I never thought that they were true" he lied forcing a concerned face
"Well he was found dead in his office, two bullet shots, one on his chest and another on his abdomen" Sébastien tried to hold back a smile as the memory of Andersons blood splattered all over his face
"That's very horrible. But I still don't get it how am I connected to all this?" He acts clueless trying to convince the officer that his innocent
"We were looking for clues in Andersons office and found Mr Jonathan Winstons files. You applied for a job as a music professor with a different identity...why" Sébastien smirks and leans back on his chair
"I knew for a fact that I wouldn't have got the job if they knew who I was"
"Mr Cross you are very wealthy, you don't need a job" Sébastien sighs heavily. He couldn't tell them that the reason is because he had to be close enough to Tera
"Because I had a masters degree in teaching so I couldn't just let it catch dust, all my hard work" he lied, well not about the degree but about the reason
"Well the first murder occurred just days after you started teaching and Anderson dies months after you stop. What a coincidence"
"What a coincidence indeed...so what am I a suspect?" He could feel himself getting really irritated, why won't he just get to the point
"Yes, well unless you have a solid alibi. Mr Cross what were you doing on May 10th between 3 and 5 pm?"
"I dropped Tera off her parents house, because I was planning on a surprise picnic for us, it took hours but I managed but it was ruined by the rain so I had to cancel everything" he lied, he was good at it now, since he had to do it on different occasions. There was a knock on the door and officer Brown came in
"Miss Willson had a panic attack" and Sébastien was taken back by his words, this has happened before but everytime it does it just feels new
