Brian and the fairy walked for what seemed like forever. The fairy telling the story of how long ago when the rat king came to invade the two queens kingdom he said the only thing to stop him was if a man were to drop from the sky and defeat him. How could Brian, a guitarist defeat a rat king? He didn't even know what he was dealing with!

"So like can I fight him with a sword or something? Brian asked. The fairy laughed.

"Please I'm sure you won't need a sword. You're the chosen one for god sake. Not even the black queen could fight him off. But you- you have knowledge from other lands!" The fairy said excitedly.

Brian shrugged it off, 'yeah sure a 30 something year old saving this universe that is probably a dream or something.' Brian thought to himself.

The fairy and Brian quickly emerged from the forest and treaded through the tall grass. "You never mentioned your name." Brian said trying to make conversation as the trudged through.

"You're gonna think it's silly but for some fairy's they're all named after planets. I'm Mercury." He smiled shyly.

This had to be a dream, the fairy's bloody name is Mercury. Like the Freddie Mercury. Brian is a little disappointed in his subconscious for being so lazy at making up names.

"How far is the wizards house from here?" Brian asked.

"Oh not far at all darling. He has the nicest little cottage by the seaside. I envy it so much! No hustle and bustle like there is in the kingdom. Just nice beach and a good view into the forest." Mercury raved on.

Brian found the grass become shorter and shorter until the grass parted and led to a little path up to the small beach bungalow.

"Do you know this wizard? Like on a personal level?" Brain asked once they reached the door.

"Well yes, we've had a rocky past but it's all water under the bridge." Mercury smiled and knocked on the door.

The blonde wizard that looked like Roger opened the door and immediately slammed it shut. "NOT AGAIN MERCURY!" He yelled.

"Oh come on you twat it was one time!" Mercury yelled and pounded on the door again.

"BLOWING UP MY HOUSE IS WHERE I CROSS THE LINE!" The wizard yelled. Brian immediately turned to Mercury who had his arms crossed and had a pouty face.

"Please, I've got the chosen one with me!" Mercury yelled into the house.

The wizard skeptically opened the door again and looked up and down at Brian. "He looks like a poodle and he's the chosen one?" He pointed to Brian.

"You're not that good looking yourself with your purple dress and dumb pointy hat with stars all over it. You look like any stereotypical wizard." Brian smirked smugly.

The wizard put his hands on his hip. "I do not!"

"Prove it! I dare you!" Brian said. Even when dreaming Brian knew how to push Roger's buttons. The wizard was about do slam the door again before stopping himself.

"You must be the chosen one, no one dares to talk to me like that." He sighed setting aside and letting both Brian and Mercury in.

Mercury took a seat on a comfy looking chair beside the couch. "Brian, this is my friend Roggie the wiz. Or his professional name Roger the wizard." Mercury introduced.

Roger extended a hand to Brian and he shook. "So you're the one that's gonna save us?" Roger asked.

"News to me too." Brian joked. Once again Brian's imagination fails to be creative with names in his dreams.

Roger fell back on his couch and put his feet up on the coffee table. "So what do you need from me?" Roger asked Mercury.

"My- my fairy ring has been broken." Mercury played with his rings on his fingers and looked down. Roger leaned forwards in concern.

"What are you doing here! You only have 50 days to live after it's broken." Roger said. Brian looked to Mercury who was now on his feet.

"Well, we're here to ask you a favor. You have connections to the white queen. You worked in her palace before it was overthrown. Now that the queens have to live among the other court people I don't see why you can't just ask her for her help. And now that we have the chosen one and your magic we can make it to the kingdom and overtake the thrown again from the great rat king!" Mercury reached out for Roger, taking his hands and pulling him up.

Roger seemed hesitant. "Mercury we both know what happens to those who disobey the great rat king in his own court. It could lead to both of us being killed!"

"I'm going to die if I don't at least try. For gods sake Roger! The chosen one will protect us! Isn't that right Brian?" Mercury and Roger both turned to Brian who was still sitting on the couch as clueless as ever.

"I'll try my best I can promise you that." He smiled a bit. Mercury excitedly turned to Roger. He sighed and nodded.

"Stay the night here and we'll leave at dawn." Mercury hugged Roger tightly.

"Oh thank you Roggie! We're gonna save the kingdom I know it!" Mercury jumped up and down.

Something about this to Brian seems promising.
