"Damn it Roger we've been pushing through this damn valley for hours now can we have a break?" Mercury wined as they sifted through the tall blades of golden grain.

"If we want to make it there before you die, no breaks until nightfall." Roger said sternly pushing through the grass.

"Brian do that thing with your quote on quote sword." Mercury said weakly pointing at his guitar.

"It's not a sword Mercury, it's something from my world. And though I can play it I don't know how I did that with the mirror back in the wood." Brian explained to Mercury's annoyance.

"Just try." Mercury commanded with the flick of his hand. With a sigh Brian reluctantly nodded.

"As you wish." He said before whipping the guitar out and playing a few cords. Though, to the disappointment of Mercury nothing happened.

"Looks like someone doesn't know how much power he actually has." Roger smirked and Mercury huffed.

"He had selective magic syndrome. Like someone I know." Mercury crossed his arms and looked away with a smirk.

"Do get cocky Fred." Brian accidentally called him as he pushed past.

"You keep on calling me that! What's with you and your world?" Mercury questioned.

"From what we've heard I'm not sure if it's as good as Bri here makes it up to be." Roger said and Brian rolled his eyes.

"Okay maybe I sugar coat a few things but truly, if you look past it's many, and I mean many imperfections it's honestly beautiful." Brian smiled.

"Oh yea?" Mercury challenged

"Yeah!" Brian replied a bit annoyed.

"Name one good thing about it. I dare you!" Mercury egged on. Roger rolled his eyes, he could see where this was going.

"Well for one I'm not this chosen one you talk about and I'm not about to fight a rat king." Brian started. His expression then softly.

"I have kids, friends, family and Anita." Brian said bitter sweetly.

Mercury then backed off. "Kids?" He asked more softly. Brian nodded.

"Got three of them. Jimmy, Louisa and Emily. They're good kids." Brian smiled feeling a sense of pride talking about them.

"Huh." Roger said softly.

"Have you ever wanted kids?" Brian asked.

"Your world is different than ours with having kids, let's put it that way." Roger said sternly.

"What he's saying is that with the division in our world it's hard for wizards to ever be given promotion to have kids." Mercury explained.

Brian frowned. "I'm sorry." He apologized

Roger flicked his wrist. "Don't want any anyways. Too much trouble."

"Liar!" Mercury hissed.

"Tell us more about your kids Bri." Roger quickly changed the subject.

"Well, Jimmy's my eldest. He likes space and such. Was never into guitar like I was but you don't have to be a clone of me to be my kid I guess."

Brian smiled. "Then there's my girls. Louisa as smart as a whip but can use some reassurance every once and awhile. Emily's my youngest and she's just the cutest little girl. She has pretty curly hair like me. Doesn't take after her mother at all which makes her so ticked. Shes a good girl. They all are good." Brian got chocked up thinking about them. It was strange, he missed them, then and Chrissy. Anita too but Mercury and Roger didn't have to know that.
