We headed to the bus. I took Bens hand. And he seems to quite like that. He didn't took it away. Just squeeze it lightly. Since the last crazy psychopath plan I was quite normal now, and since the accident with Barron I was even less angry. I just listened to some music.
But now. I held his hand...
Cute.
Now I have to tell him how I feel about him.
☺️
Thanks to Tyler he didn't held my hand because Tyler passed the guitar to Ben saying : "here, you still remedy the chords right? Do I need to go obey them one more time?"
I stared at him, so did ashlyn but I guess from other reasons...
"What?"
"You've become less of a jerk lately" Ashlyn said.
"Ah that's because of something... but Ash is right" I grinned. I'll never forgive what he wrote me instead of Logan.
"Was that supposed to be a compliment?" Tyler said with a total side eye 😒
"I guess. It was nice of you to teach him how to play happy birthday since he couldn't sing it. You didn't seem like the type to play guitar." Ashlyn sighs.
"Im nit, but I do know a few songs our dad taught us... anyway, how much time is left?" Tyler asked Logan, looking at him.
Logan who was totally dead after this day managed somehow to answer:
"Um... about 2 minutes." This dude lived in this freaking wheel 🛞 .
We all placed each other in the bus. Ashlyn alone, Logan in the wheel, Taylor and Tyler on the sits behind Logan and Me next to Ben, and Aiden across the sits we were on, with his legs on my and bens laps, the sits infront of Ashlyn.
"We're still going into town tonight right?" Aiden asked.
"Yeah since that's what Logan suggested we do." Ashlyn answered.
I laid my head on Ben's shoulder.
"I want to tell you something..."
BEEB
We were preparing ourselves and the jeep, for going to the town.
I walked over to Ben and took him aside.
"Hey, Ben," I said softly, my voice trembling slightly.
He looked up at me, his eyes filled with the same gentle curiosity I had always seen. He nodded in acknowledgment, a small smile playing on his lips.
"I wanted to talk to you about something," I began, my voice barely above a whisper. "Something personal."
Ben turned his body slightly to face me, giving me his full attention, his expression soft and encouraging.
"I know you don't talk much," I continued, "but I need you to know something important. You've always been there for me, in your quiet way, and it means a lot to me."
His eyes widened slightly, a flicker of surprise crossing his face. He remained silent, his gaze steady and supportive.
"I've been hiding for so long," I said, my voice gaining strength. "But now that I'm starting to use my voice again, there's something I need to say to you. Ben... I like you. I like you a lot."
I felt my cheeks flush, and I looked down, unable to meet his eyes for a moment. The silence stretched between us, but it wasn't uncomfortable. It was filled with anticipation.
First I stood up on my tiptoes since I was like 15 or 20cm smaller than him and then I gently pulled him down, giving him a kiss on his cheek.
Sadly ashlyn didn't gave him time to answer because after milliseconds she said: "into the car! Now!"
But it was better. What if he rejected me?
I ran to the car. I sat with Logan. Behind Tyler.
We had drew for a little bit now. It was dark. It creeped me out a little bit.
Ben didn't gave me an answer...
