THE game having ended, the islanders all changed and found themselves downstairs.
By the prevailing atmosphere, Candace felt that today was going to be the evening of crises and unfortunately that meant for Drew and her too.
Besides, speaking of him, there he was approaching her, a glass in his hand. Candace pretended she didn't see him until he spoke.
"Hey can we talk" he said looking into her eyes, and of course Candace looked away looking to see if one of her friends was around to leave with them.
But unfortunately for her, no one was around, so she huffed and finally looked at Drew and nodded.
It's not that she didn't want to talk to him, well, a little, but every time she saw his face, she couldn't stop thinking about his ass kissing someone else.
The two settled down on one of the lounges a little far from the kitchen.
"First of all I would like to tell you that you are really beautiful" he said looking into her eyes, "hm, thank you" Candace said looking at him too.
But looking at her interestedly he noticed that tonight, her lip combo was different from the one she usually did, when it came to her, he became very observant.
Then Drew smirked and said, trying to sound feminine, "Oh my god, girl, you changed your lip combo, it's so beautiful, I want the reference, is it fenty ? " he said everything excited and Candace who wasn't expecting it at all, burst out laughing.

Candace tried to catch her breath and also her seriousness. There was no way she would think she had forgiven him. It was too simple.
" I'm still mad at you you know" She said seriously, making Drew huff and run a hand over his face. "I know," he said, looking Candace in the eyes.
"But I wanted to tell you how sorry I am about all of this. I was stupid and I admit it." he finished.
Candace nodded slowly "I don't know what else to tell you Drew. I trusted you, but you destroyed that trust by kissing someone else. I know we're not together and such but damn" she stops feeling her anger rising, before slowly continuing "It's not about the fact that we're together or not, it's just a question of respect" she completed her sentence by passing her index fingers under her eyes, feeling the tears coming.
