Bay Area Firehawks vs Praire Dogs, June 10.

From the locker room to the arena, Valentina and Riley walk together, destined to win their first state match, in addition to the fact that Riley would be the most watched of the match by the scouts of the teams who sent them to see Riley's talent.

Valentina: Nervous?

Riley: A little bit, I never played under this pressure that I seem to have now.

Valentina: You have no pressure, Riley. Play your game the way you play it, be yourself, be the girl from Minnesota.

Riley: That's an incentive, right?

Valentina: Obviously! (Valentina laughs as she walks with Riley to the entrance of the arena)

Finally, the two arrived.

Valentina: Ready, right?

Riley: I was always ready.

Riley knew that, although the highly rated Sarah Filler could be the first pick in the Draft, she didn't seem to care because she knew that only one thing mattered: the beautiful game.

When the two enter, the reception is the biggest Riley has ever seen with the crowd more vibrant than ever.

Valentina while putting on her helmet says to Riley:

Valentina: Welcome to the stage, Riley!

So she, just 13 years old and about to turn 14, decided to do everything she could to help her team, so, Coach Roberts decided to call the entire team for a pre-game ritual.

C. Roberts: Listen here girls, we came to win this game no matter what, we are playing at home and if we want to impress the time is now.

Coach Roberts then looks at Riley and continues her sentence.

C. Roberts: This little girl comes from Minnesota, she's here because she believes she can do it. We work as a team, we are united from the beginning to the end, Riley is one of us now, a Firehawk, make her dream happen.

The team was already on the field, Riley and Valentina were attacking while Ava and Emily were the team's midfield and Olivia the goalkeeper.

Before the game started and ready to take the first touch of the ball, Riley said to herself: "Focus, Riley. Focus."

So, when the referee threw the puck to the ground, it was time. Riley's Showtime Hour.

The game started off tight, but Emily prevented the opposing team from creating chances and converting the opponents' missed chances into chances for Riley and Valentina.

When the puck arrived at Riley, it was like poetry had a life of its own since Riley was the only one with a movement that made everyone look at her with an extra look, including the scouts.

She was clearly the highlight of the team up until that point, Valentina was committed to helping Riley in the attack, and Riley did the same with her new mentor.

C. Roberts: Valentina, more to the left! Riley, come back to help Ava in midfield from time to time, it's necessary. Emily, always try to activate Val or Riley in the attack when you can!

The biggest scoring chances came from the Firehawks team, the biggest problem faced was the excellent defense of the opposing team, which even with Val and Riley managed to hold them back. They managed it, because what happened next was a spectacle.

So, Riley went to Valentina with an idea that was considered bold by most players, not just professionals, but by everyone, whether professional or not.
