On the day of the ceremony to decide who would be the MVP of that season, Riley had already arrived accompanied by her parents and Valentina. Tension was definitely in the air as to who the award would go to, it may or may not be Riley.

Riley: I'm SO nervous. I don't know how to describe it.

Dad: Don't worry, this is just one of the thousands of MVP awards you can participate in, my daughter. But look on the bright side, you've already been voted rookie of the year! If the MVP doesn't come, it's okay, we still have years to get it.

Riley: Thank you, Dad.

And then the moment had arrived, the announcer would tell the audience who would be the PWHL MVP in the 24/25 season, all expectations were on Riley and in the end, it was confirmed.

The finalists for the 2024/25 PWHL regular season MVP were:

Riley Andersen (PWHL New Jersey)

Taylor Heise (PWHL Minnesota)

One of them would come out with glory.

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, all the players present here were the ones who dedicated the most sweat in ice rink, Everyone here is a warrior and deserves to be here. However, only one will be able to take the trophy home, dear men and women, the 2024/25 PWHL season MVP is...

Finally, what most people expected actually happened. Riley was named PWHL MVP as a rookie, something that in sports, only Wilt Chamberlain in the NBA has achieved. The journey had been long, not only that, but Riley had the greatest season by a player in the history of men's/women's hockey, it was the crowning achievement of a historic season.

Valentina (while hugging Riley): That's my little girl, congrats little one.

Riley (while hugging Valentina): Thank you, my mentor.

Then, Riley was on her way to receive the MVP award, in the background, several applauses were heard and which also included, a goat bleating made by a journalist. Which shows that Riley is already ready to enter the conversation of the Greatest of All Time.
