Harry POV:
I feel the tears start to slow down and I look out the drawing room window. The sky was a light grayish-pink. I opened the window to get some fresh air, and a small owl fluttered in. "Pigwideon?" I see that there's a small note tied to his leg, and I untie it. It says, 'Dear Harry, I have an Idea!' Curious about what it's about, I apparate to Ron's house to see what it means.
"Ah there you are Harry! I was expecting you!" Ron exclaimed as soon as I materialised in front of him.
"What do you mean you have an idea?" I asked.
"Well, Hermione was mad at hearing what happened last night from Gin-"
"You talked to Ginny?!"
"Yeah, last night, we flooed her, or whatever it's called!"
"How is she doing? Is she still mad, does she hate me? Is she being stubborn?"
"She's fine, she was crying when we got a hold of her, she didn't want to fight with you Harry. She loves you!"
"Yeah, well there's a thin line between love and hate. And I was crying the whole night as well, but I don't think she'll ever forgive me unless I quit my job, which I can't do."
"And why can't you?"
"It's just," I hesitated, not sure how to explain, "I love my job, and ever since I was one year old I've had a chance of death, and came close many times! Ginny didn't tell me to quit fighting Voldemort then!"
"Yes, but that's because you had to fight Voldemort, you were the only person who could defeat him! And that was also when you weren't married or had a baby on the way," I thought about this, and it made sense.
"So how will we make it up to Ginny and Hermione?" I ask.
"We recreate our first kisses! Well, as much as we can at least."
"And how are we going to do that?" Both of our first kisses with our wives were at Hogwarts, and I don't think McGonagall would let us in just to kiss our wives.
"Today at the Career Convention, McGonagall asked Hermione to come as well, and Ginny's coming with some of the Harpies, isn't she?"
"Well yes-"
"So it's the perfect time! And then we all have dinner together tonight!"
It all sounded good, but there were two problems, "How do we get them to agree to come with us though? And how will we get into the Gryffindor common room?"
"You convince Hermione to go to the Room of Requirement with you, and then after we make up, I'll convince Ginny to come up to the Gryffindor common room, and we'll get the password from someone, and then after you and Ginny make up we go home and eat a tasty dinner!"
"Alright, but if it fails, I'm blaming no one but you."
Ron shrugs, "Fine with me!"
"I'll see you at two!"
"Let's meet at the Three Broomsticks, then we can head to Hogwarts."
"Sounds like a plan!"
I apparte right outside of the Three Broomsticks, and it feels nice to be back in Hogsmeade. I step inside and I instantly hear tons of chatter. I see Ron sitting at a table in the corner and go to join him.
"Hey," I say as I sit down.
"Hey. So it's almost time to go, I wonder what McGonagall wants us to talk about."
We stand up and start to walk toward Hogwarts. "Well, I think we have to explain what we do, and then let the students answer questions." I say.
"Cool," Ron seems pretty on edge, and maybe he's nervous his plan won't work, or maybe it's just talking in front of a bunch of kids.
