100 CENTURIES
::  ix. | they're here
( flashbacks will be in italics )

Klaus raised his brows, waiting for an answer from one of the Winchester boys. Alex was still in his grip along with his wrist close to her mouth. "So what will it be boys?" Klaus teased a bit.

Alex started mouthing words to them, like no or please. She didn't want to them to do anything stupid and well, she didn't want to be a vampire either. She has her whole future ahead of her and well, if Klaus does what he plans to do . . . she rather die than feed on someone else.

Klaus continued to wait a moment for an answer and he got one, just not the one he hoped. Bobby shot a white oak stake bullet at him. Luckily it missed but the result afterwards was just as terrifying. He force fed Alex his blood then snapped her neck.

It all happened so fast.

In that moment Alex didn't just lose trust with Klaus, she also lost trust with Dean, Sam, and Bobby.

Rebekah quickly ran to her side but the boys stayed far back. They all just stared at Alex's lifeless body. Rebekah's eyes slowly met Klaus'. She was angry, she wanted to kill him herself.

"What did you do nik!" Rebekah glared at her older brother.

Klaus tried to justify the means, "I did what I had too for the sake of this family!"

"She is family, Niklaus!" Rebekah stood up.

Everyone could see it on nik's face . . he instantly felt regret but he hid it so well. He didn't say a word, he just walked away with Elijah following him as he always did.

Rebekah looked up at the three men who stood a distance in front of her, "You should go. She's going to be hungry when she wakes up."

"She won't kill us." Sam spoke so proudly.

"Really?" Rebekah stood up, "You idiots are the reason this happened to her!"

As Rebekah and the guys continued to bicker, Alex started waking up. And she did. With her eyes still adjusting, she saw them all arguing ———— so she took this as an opportunity to leave. Rebekah soon had enough and turned around,

"Great, now I need to go find a hungry vampire." She stormed off into the building to quickly find nik before she began to look for Alex.

Alex was horribly trying to control the hunger as she stumbled down a dark alley do to her not knowing how to control vamp speed yet. She didn't want to feed, she didn't want to be a vampire. Everything else is cool, but the downfall is they can't have kids and Alex was planning on having some in the future. Just by the snap of her neck, it was taken away from her.

And not just by anyone, but by her best friend.

Her eyes slowly open and closed. The heart beats and pumping of blood sounds were driving her insane. Though she was pissed off, eating her friends was the last thing she wanted to do which is why she left.

Just as she thought she was about to give in, Rebekah stood right in front of her.

"Nik is a piece of shit and I know you don't want to eat." The blonde spoke as she stared at Alex with sorrow in her eyes.

"I don't want to die either." Alex croaked out.

Rebekah nodded, "Good thing there's blood bags back at the house."

Rebekah helped Alex get back to the French quarter. The newly vampire stayed round up in her room with blood bags everywhere. She was lucky to be alive and she couldn't wait to gain her strength to jam a stake through Klaus. He took the rest of her life from her which she could never get back.

She chugged the last of the blood before tossing the bag on the floor of her room then vamp speeding her way downstairs to the kitchen. Rebekah, Klaus, and Elijah were arguing.

"Don't stop on my account. I just came down to put a stake through the hybrid." Alex's eyes shifted towards Klaus with a hint of a glare.

Klaus knew he was in the wrong which is why he tried his best not to make eye contact with Alex. Rebekah was still pissed about the whole situation so she picked up a knife and threw it at Klaus, resulting in him catching it before it went through his neck. He just chuckled at his sister's attempt then unexpectedly he felt a fork in his neck. He pulled it out along with his blood, courtesy of Alex. She just gave him a cheeky smile before he left the kitchen.

"Nice shot." Rebekah commented.

"For an amateur vampire." Alex elaborated.

Rebekah jumped onto the counter behind her, sitting down, "How are you feeling now?"

Alex shook her head, "Not any better."

"Do you want to sleep with me tonight?" Rebekah blurt out.

"Sleep?" Alex wasn't sure of the meaning behind that in what whatever context Rebekah was going after.

Rebekah chuckled, "Not like that. I want to check on you."

"Ok." Alex spoke softly.

Eventually the two made it upstairs and just like everyone else, they prepared to get ready for bed. Alex was on one side as Rebekah was on the other. The light was turned off as they both laid facing each other with their eyes closed.

Rebekah's eyes opened and through the midst of the darkness, she gazed at the blonde who slept before her. She thought about how she could just kiss her. They weren't that far apart. Rebekah just came up with that excuse to be close to Alex. Little did she know, even though they might be so close they are also so far apart. Deep down, that killed her inside so she turned around because she couldn't help but think of all the things she wanted to do in that moment.

Once she turned around, Alex's eyes opened. They were so close, yet so far apart and Alex hated it. If she knew how hard this would be, she wouldn't have agreed but she would do anything just to be in the same room as the blonde ———— her favorite blonde. Eventually her eyes closed once again and just like Rebekah, she faced the other way as well.
