Izuku was bored as hell. Normally the house would be bustling with chaotic energy that never failed to keep him entertained. But today everyone was busy in one way or the other. The Oni and his mother had gone for their respective jobs. His tutor had taken a leave as he was unwell. Ranga had gone to the Jura Forest to pay respect to his deceased comrades and Dabi had gone to the salon to get his hair dyed. Izuku was pretty sure they weren't coming home anytime soon, and was contemplating his next course of action. After pondering for a while, he figured it would be nice to pay his respects to his Aunt. He hadn't visited her grave for ages. Izuku left his apartment, making sure to lock the house well before leaving. He could walk fairly well now; he had practiced really hard in the past few weeks.

A small smile formed on Izuku's lips as he saw a bunch of children in the park piling up the snow. It had been ages since he had last seen the snow fall. He recalled having snowball fights with Aunt Shizu back when he had a human form.

Izuku pulled out a map from his storage. After what had happened last time, Izuku always kept at least a map or two in his storage.

The slime made his way through the maze-like streets of Musutafu. His eyes reflected the sparkling snow lightly falling on and covering the ground. As he walked by, Izuku could sense a bunch of passersby gaping at him in shock. It made sense as it wasn't normal for a human to wear summer clothes while it was snowing. Heck, a kind grandma even offered to lend him her scarf, which Izuku politely refused.

As Izuku struggled to find the graveyard, he eventually wandered into an alleyway, and was unfortunate enough to witness a murder. Izuku stared in horror at the victim, his blood splattered on the ground. The victim's heart was no longer beating, which meant there was no hope for Izuku to save him. The villains had already taken notice of Izuku, and before Izuku could run away, one of the villains grabbed him and injected some suspicious looking liquid into him. Izuku's vision blurred and his human form deformed. He could sense his quirk getting distorted. Izuku could barely make out the things around him. The last thing he knew, he was getting shoved in a jar before passing out.

Izuku had no idea how long he had been in that accursed jar. He had gained back his consciousness a couple of hours back, but he still couldn't see properly. He could vaguely make out bits and pieces, but since the magicule flow in his quirk was haywire, none of his abilities seemed to work properly. In fact, it was a miracle that he was even able to use his Magic Sense, albeit not properly.

Izuku could vaguely make out a couple of things. He was in a large room which was fairly empty. The jar he was stuck in was placed on a shelf with a bunch of torture weapons. But what was most alarming was the fact that a child no older than eight was bleeding at the corner of the room. The child's heartbeat was dwindling as each second passed and if Izuku did not do anything soon, the child would die.

Izuku pushed the wall of the jar with all his might. The jar toppled, making it easier to roll. Since the jar was placed at such a height, Izuku easily rolled the jar over the edge and fell over. The jar crashed, the shards flying all across the room, some of them slightly grazing the slime. Izuku was finally freed from the confined space.

The slime stretched his tendril-like-arms as the injuries caused by the glass pieces slowly regenerated. It seemed that his quirk had started to stabilize, though rather slowly. Izuku turned and groggily moved towards the child, stopping right in front of the child's face.

He panicked as he sensed the child's heartbeat slow down. There was only one way to save the child, but the method was all hypothetical.

Izuku's quirk allowed him to gain the characteristics of the matter he ingested, be it organic or not. This meant that his body itself had an insane amount of healing properties, not just because of his self regeneration abilities, but also because of the sheer amount of medicinal plants had absorbed. So theoretically, by infusing a part of his slime with another person, the slime's healing properties would speed up the recovery process of said person on a whole other level. The slime would also make up for all the blood lost. But again, Izuku had never tested it, only because his ointment was so potent that there was no need to test this theory.
