"Ari," I said softly, hoping she would hear the sincerity in my voice. "Can we talk?"

She looked up, her eyes filled with a mixture of hope and fear. "Okay."

We moved to a quieter corner of the cafe, away from prying eyes. I reached out and took her hand, feeling the familiar warmth of her touch.

Heeseung's touch sent a shiver down my spine, and I felt tears welling up in my eyes. "Heeseung, I'm so scared. I don't want to lose you, but I can't shake the fear that you have feelings for Somi."

Heeseung shook his head, his eyes filled with earnestness. "Ari, you are the only one I want. Somi is just a friend, nothing more. I should have insisted on bringing you to dinner, but I didn't want to make things awkward with her. It was a mistake, and I'm sorry."

His words washed over me like a soothing balm, easing the tension that had been building inside me. "I was jealous and scared," I admitted. "I let my insecurities get the better of me."

As we pulled away, I wiped the tears from Ari's cheeks. "No more misunderstandings, okay? Let's promise to always talk things out."

I smiled, feeling a surge of affection for him. "And I want to support you too, Heeseung. Your art is incredible, and you inspire me every day."

With Sophie's words in mind, Heeseung and I spent the rest of the evening together, savoring each moment. We knew that there would be more challenges ahead, but as long as we faced them together, we could overcome anything.

As we shared one last kiss before saying goodnight, I felt a sense of contentment and joy. Heeseung was my love, my partner, and my best friend. And with him by my side, I knew that our future was bright and filled with endless possibilities.
