I wanted to create a night that Ari would never forget, something that would symbolize our fresh start. After some thought, I decided on a romantic evening under the stars by the lake. I knew how much Ari loved stargazing, and it seemed like the perfect setting to reaffirm our bond.
On the day of our planned date, I prepared a picnic basket filled with her favorite snacks and a bottle of wine. I also packed a blanket and a small telescope, hoping to impress her with a night of stargazing.
When I arrived at Ari's apartment to pick her up, she looked breathtaking. She wore a simple white dress that fluttered in the evening breeze, and her hair was loosely tied back, framing her face beautifully.
"Hey, beautiful," I said, giving her a soft kiss on the cheek. "Ready for our date?"
She smiled, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "I can't wait, Hee."
Ari POV
As we walked to the lake, I couldn't help but feel a flutter of anticipation in my stomach. The past few days had been an emotional rollercoaster, but tonight felt like a turning point. Heeseung had put so much effort into planning this evening, and it made me fall for him all over again.
When we arrived at the lake, I gasped at the sight before me. Heeseung had set up a cozy picnic spot under a large oak tree, complete with fairy lights strung up in the branches. The soft glow of the lights reflected off the water, creating a magical atmosphere.
"Oh, Hee, this is beautiful," I said, feeling overwhelmed by his thoughtfulness.
Heeseung grinned, pulling me into his arms. "I'm glad you like it, my love. Tonight is all about us."
We sat down on the blanket, enjoying the spread of food Heeseung had prepared. As we sipped our wine and nibbled on the snacks, we talked about our dreams and aspirations, just like we had when we first met.

As the evening wore on, the stars began to twinkle in the sky. Heeseung set up the telescope, and they took turns looking at the constellations. The night was filled with laughter and shared moments, each one bringing them closer together.
Heeseung pointed out various constellations, sharing stories and myths associated with them. Ari listened, fascinated by his knowledge and the passion in his voice.
Heeseung POV
I loved seeing Ari's eyes light up with curiosity as we talked about the stars. It reminded me of why I fell in love with her in the first place—her genuine interest in the world around her and her ability to make everything seem more beautiful.
"Ari," I said softly, turning to face her. "I know things have been tough lately, but I want you to know that I'm committed to making this work. You mean everything to me."
She looked at me, her eyes shining with emotion. "I feel the same way, Heeseung. I'm sorry for doubting you, and I promise to always communicate with you from now on."
Ari POV
Hearing Heeseung's heartfelt words made my heart swell with love. I leaned in and kissed him gently, feeling the warmth of his lips against mine. It was a kiss that held all the promises of a future together, a kiss that reaffirmed our bond.
