Marshall 's pov:

It' s been two days since ammy came to school and I didn't get to talk to her even once . I can't even find her during break and I don't even which dorm building she is in . Even right now I am going through halls in hope to find her somewhere instead of enjoying my meal in canteen
The only place left now is the basement library but it had been closed for years so she can't be there but she doesn't know much about our school anyway, I wanted to apologise to her for ruining her first day of school I know it was Nick still I do feel a need to apologise " what are you doing here marsh ?" My heart almost came in mouth I was so scared what if some teacher saw me here , students are restricted from coming here what " are you hearing me marsh ?" Oh I know this voice , it is not a teacher it is
" Marshall you need to know you are not allowed to be here " it's taylor " thank god it's you" I said releasing the breath I was holding " huh , didn't you recognise my voice at first" he asked being really surprised
" I got really scared so couldn't make it" he looked at me then all around hall " what are you doing here by the way ?" He asked still looking around " oh I was looking for ammy " he gave me
Confused look" and who is this ammy " I forgot only I know her nickname, which is also given by me " Amantha black" I said correcting myself " the new girl in our class , you seem close to her but why were you looking for her here , I mean why would she even be here " I took time to answer that cause I didn't think through it , it's just I couldn't find here anywhere so I came here
" I thought she might have lost the way " my answer sounded more like a question itself " well
You look like the lost one here , anyways you can find her later break is about to get over let's go and grab something to eat " he said wrapping his hand around my shoulder in a friendly manner , taylor has been my friend since 3rd grade , he is always playful yet so mature one of the skill I adore alot about him
When we reached canteen most of tables were already occupied
We starred looking for available one " here taylor and marsh , you guys can come here " Kevin yelled from other corner of canteen near window , everyone were giving us side eyes for disturbing them " you didn't need to yell like that Kevin" taylor said being embarrassed at Kevin 's behaviour " now you know what we go through daily" shanaya said who was sitting near window, theo was sitting opposite to her and Kevin was sitting besides theo , they were almost half way through their lunch,  taylor sat down beside Kevin and I sat with shanaya, we started eating sandwich we grabbed on our way here ,         no one said another word as in our school we have always taught to not speak while eating that's why our canteen is as quite as library
" Hey, isn't that new girl?"  Kevin said still munching his lunch looking outside the window, his eyes followed by us " yeah it's her " shanaya said nodding her head still looking outside
" Seems like she is looking for something" she definitely was finding something as she was looking at the ground while searching " she is really quite and mysterious " taylor stated exactly my thoughts about her
" Yeah , she looks like that one anime character who had bad past and now don't want to trust anyone" Kevin is right to say this she does seems like a mysterious character from anime
" If it's like that then we should be those friends who changes
her " Theo said jokingly
" That's actually a good idea " Shanaya said getting up from her seat  while everyone gave her confused look " I mean if she is really that lonely character we should be her friend in a shiny armour" we all looked at eachother then at her , there is no way we can say no otherwise she would force but not like I was going to say no , I also wanted to be friends with ammy.

Amantha 's pov :

Where is it? ,where , where
Where is that house batch , I should have pinned it properly now I can't find it anywhere
I also had to skip lunch due to this, where the hell it went to
It's not in my bag , not in class , not in canteen  where it could go
I had it during first class then
We went to chemistry lab
I had it till 4th period then it was time to go to your respective departments since I didn't choose one  I was just rooming around until I saw those stairs , it could be there
Here I am standing again infront of those stairs which go downwards to a room, I didn't went in cause it was locked but I still don't understand why there are these stairs behind school's building, Even I wouldn't have found it cause it was covered with some heaps of grass but don't know why destiny wanted me to see it " anyway, let's just go and grab that batch " I bent to put away heap of grass which I had put down again before so , no one knows about it , I pushed a string of my hair back which kept coming out " are you looking for something?" A female voice startled me as I froze for a second but then remembered I was not doing something weird
I stood up and looked towards the owner of voice, and I was met with 5 pairs of eyes looking at me " what?" I asked not remembering what was the question " I asked if you were looking for something ?" Only girl from them said giving me soft smile, I know it's shanaya she is my deskmate and other four boys are also in my class , one of them is Marshall , and about others I don't know their names yet but one of them is head member of discipline committee everyone calls him taylor , he is tall with brown skin tone and good body language he is only person I paid attention to so far , The boy on his right with glasses is the smart guy of our class and the guy standing with shanaya is one who was fighting with that guy nick on first day
But I couldn't remember their names , they were all looking at me waiting for my answer and I don't want any interaction with them I know I need to have friends to survive in hostel but I have my certain boundaries and having friends means joking and staying with them all the time, having to tell them about urself and I am not interested in having people around me 24/7 who will be leaving me at end. Even though I never went to school I still had friends but due to that rich girl tag they were more like minions so , I made decision to take my leave from a group full of chaos " you are going without taking your asset " one of them said as I walked past them stopping me from taking further step " hmm " I said looking back without moving my lower body
" I think this is ur property" Marshall came to me with something in his hand as he opened his fist there was my batch " it is mine" I took it and put it on my uniform, thank god it's not lost anymore " taylor found it around swimming pool"
Boy with glasses said putting his hand on taylor 's shoulder .
" Thanks " I said looking him as he gave me a nod " and thanks Marshall" I can appreciate him efforts even though I don't want to be a friend " any time" he said giving me the brightest smile I have ever seen in 14 years of my life , suddenly my phone rang startling me I took it out and saw caller ID it was miss milli my caretaker and no way I am not picking it so I excused my self from walking happy pill ( Marshall)

Taylor's pov :

I was walking through the halls checking if all the rules are followed properly by all the students since school just has started everyone is more rebellious then before, we are only allowed to use phones during break times but some students use it even during other periods , I just have collected three phones on my way and ofcourse I can't do that to my seniors but I complaint about them to other head seniors even if I don't enjoy this work much I still do it with  responsibility.
" I am saying this last time aunty I am not calling him at all, no matter what you say and don't try to emotional black mail me "
I heard a voice from door of the old library someone might be using this place to make a phone call , sounds like it's some family problem I should wait for them to come outside , but what if they take more time if some teacher sees them they can get into trouble without having any second thought I went in being encountered with shocked face of amantha " I will call you later " and she hang up saying that
" What are you doing?" Asked her even though I know the answer " you literally saw me hanging up so, just take my phone I know I broke the rules" she said giving me her phone it was surprising to see a new student following rules and excepting punishment " it was your first time so I am sparing you" I said and she gave me a nod " so , what are you doing in this closed library" I asked still not understanding why she would choose to talk in library where everyone could hear her
" Oh , I heard someone's voice so just came here to check" that was weird no one is allowed to come here cause it's closed but they don't lock it " are you sure , cause this place is closed for Everyone" I asked her " I know, chair women told me that's why I came to know who it could be "  
" I will handle the matter then you should go " I will inform about this to president later

And I am really sorry for putting amantha 's perspective more than others but I promise it's necessary for the start cause story starts when she enters and it reflects other characters life .
