Kevin's pov :

There is only two things I like about school one is that I get time to spend with my friends and second I get to play football during free time but right now it seems impossible cause a certain idiot is blocking my way just for his entertainment , sometimes I wonder how can people have so much free time " are you giving up or not?" Nick asked as if I will ever give in to him " In your dreams" he gave me his cunning smile that I hate more than our chemistry teacher's assignment
" I told you I don't want any problem so just give me way to pass through" I couldn't afford to get any more punishments or theo would not talk to me at all and he is man of his words
" Sorry sweetheart, but I can't
First go and apologise to mark "
No way I am apologising to any of them" he was the one who made fun of theo " if it was about me I would have let it go but theo never says anything to them
" If they wanted a fight they should have came to me and I bet they told you a whole another story " I said knowing that mark would make up some story to cause fight between me and nick " He said you bad mouthing about us and I believe him " he said with determination Even though he knows mark can't be trusted" fine , believe him as much as you want but now let me go " I said taking a foot forward again being blocked by him " what you want-" I didn't complete my sentence when I saw our supervisor walking towards us, I got an idea I took Nick's hand in mine and dragged him towards locker pinning myself against locker, from far it would look like he is pinning me  
I did everything thing in such a speed he didn't had time to think
" What are you doing, Kevin?" He said looking little red than normal.

" What is happening here ?" Supervisor said looking at nick in particular " mam , I was just trying to go for football practice but he is not letting me" I said
Putting the scared puppy look on my face , nick was in complete shock looking between me and supervisor, the look on his face was worth everything he looked like a lost puppy " mr nick you are getting detention follow me to my office " saying this she turned her back towards us
I left Nick's hand and winked at him before going towards football ground.

Shanaya 's pov:

Sitting in corner of technology department looking towards an angelic face being so focused on his work and waiting till he completes it so , you can have a two word conversation with him till reaching dorm building is what my life is everyday but still I feel so , happy and content with it , maybe that's the reason I have not being able to move on from him , everyone might think I have set the bar two low or I should have high standards but how can you stop crushing on a guy who always ask how you are in that two words conversation, always avoid fights cause you don't like it , tell you to take care of your health and treats his friends right " only if he had feelings for me" I said thinking it would be great if he also felt the same way " I think you should go to dorm , it would take him sometime to complete this project" bella a senior said " it is about upcoming science fair right?" She nodded in response, there would be a science fair next month where students get chance to show their projects and the best one get awarded
" He is working extra hard this time " I said looking at how serious he looked, he is so passionate about this and work very hard " I hope he wins this time " she went to her work saying that , " me too " I said still not taking my eyes from my prince charming

" Wake up Shanaya, wake up " I slowly opened my eyes hearing Theo ' s voice , he was right infront of me looking concerned
" Did I feel asleep" I asked still trying to open eyes completely
" Yes, you did " I heard Kevin's voice " you are also here, wait what time is it ?" I asked looking around for my phone" calm down it's only 7 , don't worry we are not late " Kevin said giving me my phone" I am really sorry for keeping you waiting for me " theo said in low tone, he looked worried" No , it's not your fault, you told me to go but I am the one who decided to stay here " I said looking into his deep brown eyes" but still I should have known how stubborn you are " see how can I not fell for him when he is literally a whole green forest, I can't find a single red flag in him
" Can you guys stop looking at each other like this , it's kinda creepy " and Kevin had to ruin this beautiful moment , believe me he is real definition of third wheel.

We were walking towards girls dorm building where I stay
and these two boys are dropping me to ensure my safe return showing they are raised to be gentleman " hey , Shanaya does that new girl stay in your building" Kevin asked grabbing our attention " no , she doesn't I think she stays in H15" I stay in H11 which is like five blocks away from her dorm
" Did you get to talk to her later , today " theo asked " I didn't saw her whole day but I am still wondering what she was doing in backyard of school building" she seems so weird
" Maybe she was trying to  find a place to setup her secret base like those mysterious characters in anime " sometimes Kevin says things which doesn't make sense at all and it was one of that moments now " or maybe she was trying to find a place where she is not disturbed by anyone
I mean her first day was not the best day , she still doesn't know much about this place , she still doesn't have any friend yet " theo said putting me and Kevin in thought, now I have more reasons to be friends with her and I will definitely make it happen .

Theodore 's pov

After dropping shanaya at her dorm , we were walking towards ours " hey , theo " Kevin said but for some reasons his voice seems a little bit serious " yes " he stopped in his way " I am sorry"
He said the three words which I least expect coming out of his mouth " what?" I asked being shocked at what he could be sorry for " I am sorry" again those words which should not be coming out of his mouth, I came closer to him . He was not making eye contact with me
" Kevin , what happened? , what are you sorry for ? " When his eyes met mine it looked like he was about to cry " hey , what happened?" I again asked embracing him in my arms
Kevin is someone who is really emotional but try to be tough
The last time I saw him crying was when I didn't talk to him in 5th grade , he went to near park during night to cry his eyes out because he thought I would leave him , that was the first and last time he cried at least infront of me " it' s just that you always get in problems because of me " now I know where it came from , it's not that it's not true, I do get in problems sometimes because of him but it's not his fault" Did nick said something?" It's definitely him " No , it's not him but it's true " he didn't shed a tear , his voice sounded more like a  statement
" I do create trouble for you even  if you don't do anything troubling" if it's not nick then who it could be to play with Kevin 's mind like this" listen to me Kevin, you are not troubling me at all , I am your best friend if won't stay with you all the damn time then who is supposed to do it, your friendship is most one of the most precious thing god graced me with and I am not letting some idiot to ruin it so , now kindly tell me name of that person who has put all these things in your head " I said all this literally in one breath
In response he just hugged me tighter .

" Will you tell me or not?" We have again started walking towards our dorm and it is only 12 feets away and he still didn't tell me name of that jerk
" It doesn't matter, you were right we should not pay attention to what others say " it's not right time to follow my advice .
" Kevin" I said in threatening voice " I just don't want you to get in a fight" he said surprising
Did he really thought I would pick a fight
" And who the hell told you I would be the one fighting " he gave confused look by raising one eyebrow" then who would " he asked being confused
" That doesn't matter just tell me the name " he went into thoughts looking straight ahead" do you remember that boy in 9 ( venus )
Who always try to humiliate others " oh that boy is a walking threat to anyone who is little much emotional" his name is lucha right?" I asked" yeah , when I went to playground after messing with nick he appeared out of nowhere and said how I could be happy after putting my bestfriend in trouble, he also said that nick is way better at least he fight for his friends " this boy needs to mind his own business sometimes but I have a perfect solution for him " you don't need to pay attention to anything he says and don't worry I have a solution for him "
" What are you going to do ? " he asked" you will see it tomorrow " he wanted to ask but shrugged it
And lucha be prepared for tommorow .
