The Kelce living room, the walls an almond brown colour. Mixed with Cheifs merch and Taylor Swift posters, CDs and vinyls plastered all over - illustrating Skye's love for her. Her dad, Travis, despite his initial scepticism, has been slowly pulled into the whirlwind of being a swiftie. Travis lives alone with his adorable 8 year old daughter, it's been just them ever since Skye was 3, her mother passed away from drowning when she was on a girl's trip with friends, they were on a small boat that collided with another causing them all to fall overboard, Skye's mother, Briella, got trapped underneath the two boats and well, she didn't make it.

Skye has been a swiftie ever since she was little, her mum, before she had passed, was a huge swiftie herself. Together, they would spend countless hours dancing and singing to Taylor's music. Skye initially adored Taylor Swift's music for its infectious melodies and tunes. However, Skye delved deeper into the lyrics after her mother's passing, discovering a new appreciation for Taylor's songwriting abilities.

"hurry up Dad, it's about to start!" Skye shouted from the living room, trying to spark the attention of her dad, who was finishing up making them some snacks in the kitchen. "Coming girlie," Travis says as he walks into the living room with bowls of chips and other salty snacks. "You ready to watch Dad" "Yes sweetheart, I can't wait!" Travis says sitting down next to the overly excited 8 year old. Normally Skye watches the livestreams alone in her room, but she finally convinced her dad to watch with her.

"10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!!!" the two shouted as the countdown was going down. Travis watched his little girl beam with excitement as Taylor was emerging from the stage. "Ooh I guessed she would wear the blue and gold outfit" Skye said excitedly, pointing and showing her dad "Good job girlie". Skye was a whirlwind of energy, singing at the top of her lungs, dancing around the living room doing some choreography like she was a backup dancer, and occasionally squealing with delight. Travis on the other hand was a much calmer presence, his eyes fixed on the screen with occasional glances over at his daughter, soft smiles appearing on his face. He'd learned the lyrics to most of the songs by now and found himself tapping his foot or humming along.

As the concert progressed, they found themselves sharing excited glances and bonding over a shared love for Taylor's music. During the red set, a hush fell over the room. Skye's eyes were glistening as she sang along to 'All Too Well (10 Minute Version)'. Travis watched her, a profound sense of love and pride washing over him. He had never fully grasped the extent of Taylor's music's impact on Skye until that moment.

As the concert drew to a close, a sense of melancholy washed over them both as they had been transported to a different world for a few hours, a world filled with music, joy, and connection. As Taylor and the crew took their final bows, they both were already looking forward to the next live stream.

"Woah, that was truly incredible," Travis said falling back onto the couch as the live stream on the TV went black "Told you! You have been missing out" the little girl said giggling. "I don't know how she does that, She is on stage for hours, singing and dancing and still looks so flawless at the end, then she does it all over again the next day". "I don't know Dad, she's magical". "that she is girlie" Travis said slightly blushing at the thought of Taylor but quickly tried to stop so Skye couldn't see.

After a few minutes of relaxing and trying to come down from the high that is the eras tour, even if was just live-streamed, it was time for bed. "Ok girlie, it's time for bed now, let's go get ready". "No please, Daddy one more minute, please, please, please" Skye said begging her dad to let her stay up later. "sorry kiddo, it's late, and we've got some stuff we need to do in the morning". After a few minutes of Skye pleading, she finally gave in, and they both headed upstairs.

Travis tucked the covers around Skye's frame, her eyelids fluttered as he brushed a stray strand of hair from her forehead. A shared smile passed between them as he began to read, his deep voice, as he reads her a nighttime story. With each turn of the page, Skye's breathing grew steadier, until finally, silence fell over the room, broken only by the rhythmic rise and fall of her chest.

He stayed there for a few minutes, as he watched his young daughter peacefully sleep, he felt a surge of love and protectiveness. After some time he eventually decided that he should head to bed too. Travis quietly tiptoed out of her room and into his own. As he slipped into bed, the lingering echoes of his daughter's slumber were slowly replaced by the thoughts of Taylor Swift. The Eras Tour had captured his attention in a way he hadn't expected. Her powerful vocals, captivating stage presence and genuine connection with her fans had ignited a spark of admiration, and her ocean eyes and pretty smile were just an added bonus. He drifted off to sleep with a smile on his face.
