Marcus nodded, taking in my words. It was clear to him that I had been an outsider at my school, and it was entirely possible that a fellow student could be behind the death threats. He made a mental note to keep that possibility in mind as he continued his investigation. He knew that teenagers could be ruthless, and it was not unheard of for them to resort to extreme measures to settle their grudges.

He looked up at me again, his expression serious. "Can you tell me anything else about your classmates? Are there any who have been particularly hostile towards you, or who have expressed any kind of interest in you, either positive or negative?"

"I am sorta popular with the friendship group I am in, well not a group anymore since Sam's death. It's just me and my friend now. I guess, I was a bitch to some people. I didn't mean it, but when people irritate me, I can't help but say some mean stuff. I can't help it and I have told people that,". I said gently.

Marcus listened to my explanation, his expression softening slightly. He understood that sometimes people lash out when they're upset or hurting, and it seemed like I was recognizing that about myself.

He took a moment to consider my words, then spoke again. "Do you think any of the people you've been 'bitchy' to could be holding a grudge against you? Enough to send you death threats, I mean."

"Probably, it would make sense,".

Marcus nodded, making another mental note. It seemed like I had a few potential suspects in mind, which was a good starting point for the investigation. He thought for a moment, his mind rapidly turning over possibilities. He knew that the next step was to start looking into these suspects and see if he could dig up any information that could help him narrow down the list of potential culprits.

He turned his attention back to me, his tone serious yet gentle. "Can you give me the names of the people you've been at odds with at school?" he asked. "It would help me get started on the investigation if I knew who to look into." He knew that the list could be long, but every bit of information would help.

"It's mostly everyone in my year,".

Marcus raised an eyebrow as I spoke, the sheer number of people I was indicating surprising him. "Everyone?" he repeated, his voice a mixture of surprise and disbelief. "You mean to tell me that you've had conflicts with every single person in your year?"

He leaned back in his chair, his mind trying to process this information. The thought that I had issues with so many people was almost impossible to believe. He knew that teenagers could be cruel and cliquey, but this level of animosity seemed excessive.

He shook his head slightly, still trying to wrap his mind around the scope of the issue. But he knew that he couldn't dwell on that now. He had to keep moving forward and figure out how to narrow down the list of potential suspects. He looked back at me, his expression firm.

"Alright," *he said firmly, his voice decisive. "That's a lot of people to look into, but we're going to start with the ones who have been the most hostile towards you. Can you give me their names and any details about any altercations you've had with them?"

"I argued with some girl, I don't know who she is, I guess an hour before my incident, she was grabbing me and telling me stuff I had done towards others. But I have never seen her in my life,".

"That's not good," he said quietly, his mind racing. The fact that I had a physical altercation with someone I didn't even know was a concerning development. It could mean that someone was trying to get retribution on me for something, but why they would use such extreme measures was still a mystery.

He made another mental note of the incident, adding it to the growing list of suspicions about potential suspects. The thought that there was someone out there targeting me specifically made him even more determined to find out who was behind these death threats.

"Can you describe the girl who attacked you?" He asked, his voice firm. "Anything you can remember about her appearance or anything specific she said could be helpful. We need to find out who she is and why she was attacking you."

"I can't remember, the whole night was a blur,".

Marcus nodded, understanding the impact that trauma could have on my memory. It wasn't surprising that I couldn't recall many details about the incident, given everything I had been through. He leaned forward in his chair, his tone softer now. "It's okay," he said gently. "Don't strain yourself. Just try to remember as much as you can. Any small detail could be important."

He searched my expression, looking for any hint of something jogging my memory. But he could see the weariness in my eyes, the exhaustion and trauma weighing heavily on me. He knew that pushing me too hard too soon could backfire and cause me even more stress and anxiety.

"I don't know, I'm sorry," I said quietly.

Marcus shook his head, his expression sympathetic. "It's okay," he said reassuringly. "You've been through a lot, and your mind is still trying to process everything that's happened. Don't apologize, it's not your fault."

He paused for a moment, his gaze never leaving me. He could see the guilt and remorse in my eyes, the feeling that I had failed somehow by not being able to remember more details. But he knew that it wasn't my fault. I had been through a traumatic experience and my brain was trying to protect me by blocking out certain memories.

He leaned forward in his chair, his voice quiet and reassuring. "It's important that you don't blame yourself for this," he said. "You did nothing to deserve what happened to you, and you shouldn't feel guilty for not remembering every detail of the incident. I'm going to do everything I can to figure out who is behind these threats against you and bring them to justice. But right now, you need to focus on healing and recovering."
