"I like the floats." Ana complimented as she admires the witches floats and the Crescent Wolves float as well. "They're really cool."
"Yeah, I like them. We both helped out with The Crescents." Christy said.
Ana and Christy exchange small smiles at each other. Christy's wrist comm buzzes in her pants pocket.
Christy takes out her wrist comm.
"Oh, no." Ana said.
"Not to worry, Ana." Christy said, and answers her wrist comm. Nurse Giannis shows up on the wrist comm screen. "Giannis? Is everything okay?"
"Everything's fine, Milady. I just thought you should know that Bassea has given birth to a healthy baby girl." Giannis told Christy with a smile.
"Oh my gosh." Christy said with a happy smile. "Tell Vek and Bassea I'll see them after I'm finished with things here."
"I will." Giannis said, and hangs up her wrist comm.
And Christy puts her wrist comm back in her pants pocket.
"So, what to do while we wait for the afternoon parade to start?" Ana asked.
"We can eat snack food." Christy suggested. "It's morning, so, we can eat crepes or something?"
"Crepe sounds good." Ana said.
"Yep." Christy said.
Ana and Christy heads over to the French Quarter café

Later that day, Ana and Christy are sitting at a table with their plates of crepes.
"These crepes are really good." Christy said, taking a bite of her flaky thin crepe.
"It's our usual breakfast crepe." Ana said.
"Yeah." Christy said.
"Did Klaus tell you about Charlotte Petrova?" Ana asked.
"He was going to, but Freya told me that she was resurrected by Marcalos." Christy told her.
"Why is Marcalos resurrecting people from Klaus's past?" Ana asked.
