Chapter 10- Anya

Vaughn Morozov is a Monster
There are different kinds of monsters in this world, monsters who kill, monsters who torment, monsters who hurt others, monsters who use others, but the worst kind of ones are the monsters who lie.

And that guy, is the worst kind of one.

And the best kind of ones are the ones who are lovable, the ones who want to help and I wonder why I still wait for my monster to save me, and from what? I have no idea.

I get inside to see a smirking Lidya who looks happy at her best, I didn't say anything to anyone, nor did I bid them good byes. They were just acquaintances not friends. I wouldn't give such a heavy term to them.

I pack my bags and leave from here.

I didn't wait for the next day, Derik came with me too. I wonder how he managed to.
"Cheer up, either way we were leaving this week"
"That jerk kicked me out, there is a difference you know"
"Be glad and we can execute the plan easily, we will kill Alexei next week, Boss has enough evidence against him, and we will make it seem like he ran away and get him to NYC to our base"

"Which boss Derik? You have four of them you know"
He smiled slightly and said
"Dai"
"Ahh, by the way what is Dai Sensei's full name?"
"No one knows"
He said and I sighed and got off the Taxi. After a long travel we finally reached.

We reached New York and find no one to greet me here.

"Annie"
Annie, yes Annie is my name I turn to see my excited sister who jumped on me making me fall on ground and hugged me tightly.

"Lia I missed you so much, I tell you what-"
"I missed you too"
She said kissing my forehead and I got up to see Ma and Pa, Pa has a smile and Ma, my aunt is crying.

"My baby"
She said engulfing me in a hug.
"Maa"
"Annie, you have no idea how much I missed you"
She said making me remember something, she was busy as much as I know, but both of them took their time off today.

"Anna"
Uncle called out and I rushed in his arms, should I say I saw Papa that day? But Mama Papa's bodies weren't even in a single piece.
"Pa, how are you"
"Good now that you are here"
He muttered and said

"So this calls for dinner then"
I turn to look at Derik who waved at me
"Derik-"
"Family time Annie, we will have whole day with others tomorrow, Sirius will die seeing you, lets keep it a secret till then"
He said and patted my head with a smile making me smile back.
"Who is he?"
"He is my teammate, Derik"
I say to Lidya who looked at him and then back at me.

"Hey remember, few years ago you got lost here? This is the same place, nostalgic"
Lia said holding my hand pulling me with her

"Were you lonely without me?"
"I was, but Ari accompanied me many times, through phone I mean, at nights and sometimes at days, you gotta see how she has grown"
"I tell you what I miss her already"
"Me too, but don't worry, she is still more attached to you than with me"
I smile at my sister and my gaze fell on the way just like that day.

Those three guys who saved me, I wish I can meet them and thank them again.

"Annie"
I felt a sense of relief, listening to my name, Annie is the name I gave to myself.

After having dinner we got back to our house

"Wanna sleep upstairs on terrace?"
"We can?"
"Ofcourse"
Lia said getting the covers and we both went upstairs.
"Lia"
"Yeah"
"Maa and Paa were busy, and I was away, I feel guilty to leave you alone, now that I think you must have been lonely too"

"Mom was working in office, Dad was busy with his investigations and I was studying for Law"
"Law?"
"Yeah, and you have exams next month, you can cover up and get a degree and join REU"
"Wait a min, so we both are not in same class now?"
"You will be my junior and Ari will be with you"
"Admissions?"
"Secured them and I think Ari is joining in Hacking"
"Not writing?"
"No"
I stare up at sky and put my head on my sisters arm who caressed my hair
