Chapter SIXTY-EIGHT.

[SIXTY-EIGHT]

(Time Skip Still Thursday)

Piper Randle's (POV)

We just arrived at the first plant nursery "Tiny Seedling's", and I can already tell Lola is going to spend at least an hour in here. Each landscaping design project she takes, or focuses on in the area she will be working with, the idea of what her clients want, and then she gets to sketching and going through plants and their natural habitats and growth patterns to finish. So, as I know my wife during this stage, check over every different plant she can in a nursery take sketches of them, and write down those features of each one she may or may not use in her design. Since she can't explore the world and see every plant like a scientist would this is her as she calls it "Studio of plants". She gets a kick out of comparing our arts any chance she can, and we each feed off that and can come up with some cool and crazy ideas for either of our projects.

When I am not in the studio I try to have my camera with me at most times so whether I see something that fascinates me or her I can capture it. This way if I see any plants or landscape scenes that she can get an idea from I give the pictures to her for her to use. Chloe loves our little adventures because some of the nurseries we go to see she sees them as mini rainforests or jungles. That she can let her imagination run wild. As we walk inside Donna the nursery owner spots us and smiles making her way to us. We have known her for two years now and we hardly buy any plants until it is time for Lola's project to take off. Donna has come to be our friend and lets us just spend as much time here as we want since we don't disturb her regular customers. That and Lola takes sketches for her on occasion to display or use for certain displays she has in her store. She gets to us saying, "Well now look who has come to visit me and my little nursery." Lola smiles saying, "Donna we come here at least once or twice every two weeks." Donna chuckles saying, "Hey I can't I have favorites here and there." She winks at us and Chloe peeks out from behind me making Donna smile even bigger. She squats down saying, "Well now there she is, what adventures are you going on today sweetheart?" Chloe giggles wiggling around with her hands behind her back when she says, "K-Know, know yets Dondon."

Donna giggles saying, "Well when you find out let me know little explorer so I can help yeah." Chloe giggles nodding then she turns to me asking, "Momma c-can we sees t-the f-fly t-traps?" Shaking my head I chuckle saying, "Why of course we can miss I don't see them every time we come here." She giggles sticking her tongue out at me, I arch my brow and smirk when she squeals and hides in front of Lola, so I don't tickle her. Smiling as Lola hugs her I look back at Donna saying, "We will try to keep her adventure on the quiet front but there are no promises." She stands up chuckling saying, "Don't worry she is always good when here." I shake my head knowing she remembers the few times Chloe got too excited and broke a few potted plants. I just smile saying, "We will probably be here for an hour, hopefully no longer..." I look at Lola and she blushes making me giggle and walk over to her kiss her cheek and say, "Go get your sketch on darling, Chloe and I will see you in a bit."

Nodding she kisses my cheek then Chloe's head saying, "You be good for momma ok baby." Chloe nods and skips over to me taking my hand, I smile at Lola saying, "When Elena and Esme come in if she gets bored with you send her our way." She scoffs and I giggle jumping away when she tries to smack my arm. Causing Chloe and Donna to giggle, I wink and quickly kiss her cheek before pulling Chloe with me in a slow run to get away all while we both giggle down the aisle towards the back where the Venus fly traps are.

Lola Randle's (POV)

Rolling my eyes I watch my two "children" scurry away giggling, hearing a chuckle I look back towards Donna and sigh out, "I swear those two give me more grey hairs every day." She snickers saying, "Oh don't play that old card Lola, you and Piper don't look a day over thirty." I gasped saying, "Oh, you shut up!" She laughs smiling then tilts her head asking, "So who are Elena and Esme? I haven't heard those names associated with you three before." I smile saying, "New friends and family I'll introduce you to them when they get in here." She arches a brow asking, "How new?" I laugh at this shrugging and saying, "Almost three weeks." She gasps saying, "Wow, now I have known you three for two years and they are already family huh." She mock pouts and I smile shaking my head saying, "Oh, don't be jealous Donna you know we love you and I'm sorry it has been a while since we all got together. How is Raylen by the way?"
