Rizwan's pov

Babar helps me to get out of the car. I take his arm as a support. I practically trip over my feet but he got me from falling. I'm so sleepy and I wanna be in my bed.

I look back at Naseem. Then I start walking and bump into a plant outside my house. Babar comes quickly.

"Are you okay?" He asks me with concern clear in his voice. He's so caring. I wish I had a friend like that. I mean I have Naseem and many others but still, someone like Babar should've been my friend.

He puts his right hand on my waist to help and the other hand to guide me through. Well, it's my house. I should be the one guiding but my sleepiness is a barrier. I can't even trust myself when I am sleepy.

We enter the living room and l let go of his hold to lay on my sofa. So comfortable. I was about to drift off to sleep when I think about my cricket bag and stuff. What about it? Who will get it?

I look at Babar to see if he got it but he's not there. He was just there a minute ago. Where did he go?

After a minute, Babar arrives, wearing my cricket bag and holding some of my stuff. He puts all of them on the other side of the sofa amd then looks at me with a 'I should get going' look.

I stand up to thank him and then suddenly I hug him. He's got this warm feeling. At first, I felt like I should let go but I don't. I keep hugging him until he hugs me back. And he did. We stayed like that for a few minutes about what I remember because I slept after that. I don't remember if I slept in his arms or god knows what happened.

When I woke up, I was in my room and l saw him leaving. I mumbled 'thanks'. He heard it and gave me a reassuring smile and went away after that. I don't remember when I slept after that but I had the best sleep. After all, he's not so scary.

             The next day

I woke up at around 9:30 in the morning. I sit on my bed and process about what happened last night. And that's when I realize I had finally hugged him and felt so normal and amazing. It felt good to hug someone after a long time and that too, Babar.

I look for my phone. After finding it on my side table, I check my messages and social media to see any updates. Well, there are many people saying that I'm a test player and some even called me tuk tuk but I can't care less.

I see that I got a message. It must be Naseem asking if I'm up or not. I open the messages app and it's Babar. It came just a few minutes ago. It says:

"Morning! How'd you sleep?"

I immediately reply back:

" Good. How about you? I'm sorry for causing you so much inconvenience last night. You must've been tired:)"
