"This all stops, now!" A boy wearing a blue and white cap with a pine tree on the front yells as he goes to slam his palm onto a flashing red button. His companions look on in worry as the timer for the machine counts down to zero.

"Don't touch that button!" A gravelly voice shouts. Looking over to the doorway they see an older male dressed in a suit reaching out with a bandaged hand as he gasps for air, seeming to have run a marathon. The three glared at him with distrust as they wait for him to say something. All that can be heard in the room is the beeping of the timer going down and the older male's pants. The suited male walks closer as he tries to persuade the cap-wearing boy not to push the button.

"Dipper, just back away." The male raises his hands to show no harm. The boy now known as Dipper looks at the button and back at the older man in suspicion. "Please don't press that shutdown button, you gotta trust me."  He exclaims as he walks closer to the three as Dipper keeps his hand above the button.

"And I should trust you why? After you stole radioactive waste? After you lied to us all summer?" Dipper puts his right hand up to his face as he questions why he should trust the older male. He leaves the button as he walks closer to the suited male as his voice gets louder with a lace of hurt in his voice. "I don't even know who you are!"

"Look, I know this all seems nuts but, I need that machine to stay on if, if you just let me explain." The older man walks just a few feet away from the three others as he tries to get them to listen to him. He's interrupted by the loud and sharp beeping of his watch on his right wrist. "Oh, oh no! Brace yourself!" He cries out in warning as the portal that was once just a bright white in the middle with yellow and pink around it as it swirls opens up behind them, revealing what looks like a night sky full of stars, or even a galaxy. Lighting comes out of the portal, firing around the room as they start to float off the ground and they yelp in fright. Outside the shack that they are in, things around start to float off the ground, flying into the sky. Cars on their way to the shack, lift off the road up to the sky, the people inside freaking out. The townspeople are in disarray as they and the objects around them float, traveling higher and higher as the sun turns red and lighting strikes. The sky turns dark, the only light being from the red glowing sphere in the sky, and flashes of bright light from the spark of electricity hitting the ground.

"T-minus 35 seconds." A female robotic voice says back in the basement of the shack. Debris floating off the ground with the four other people in the room as they try to grab onto something to keep them stable. "Dipper!" A girl in a pink sweater shouts for the boy, Dipper looks over at her in worry. Her foot is stuck in a wire, keeping her only a few feet away from the button.

"Mable, hurry!. Shut it down!" Dipper points at the button as he hangs onto a beam of wood on the rocky wall. Mable grabs the wire and pulls herself down with all her strength to the button the wire is connected to.

"No!" The older male shouts as he pushes himself off the ceiling trying to stop the younger girl. Mable leaps from the wire and reaches for the button. Grabbing onto the metal rod of the button, she goes to press it. "Mable. Mable wait! Stop!" She stops to look at the older man, only to see the male in a t-shirt with a question mark has tackled the male down to the floor, away from her. "Soos, what are you doing?" The suited male asks as he hits Soos on the head. "I gave you an order."

"Sorry, Mr. Pines. If that is your real name, but I have a new mission now. Protecting these kids." He exclaims as he wraps his legs around the older male to keep him from getting away.
