Sillius really didn't know what to do now.
For a few days now, he had been lying in wait. He had yet to get a message from Shedletsky on where the next SFOTH sword was and he was starting to get really, really, bored.
First, he made sure to clear the areas he had already explored for any bux. The Sketchy Figure next to Bizville's hotel really liked em and he got tons of cool cards in exchange for handing them over. A win-win situation!
He ended up buying some defense badges, having gotten word of their remarkable power, before setting off to discover more secrets.
Oh, and secrets did he find! In this little sewer, he found this colony of rats. They whispered of a challenge, guarded behind wooden boards; a challenge they couldn't take on, because, well, they were rats, can't expect too much, can you?
He ended up breaking the boards, only to discover... a pit.
Or, well, THE Pit.
That damned pit! He hated it and loved it at the same time!
It kept him occupied for days, but dear lord, some of the floors... He shuddered at the thought of doing them again and he still wondered how he even got past some of them!
But get past them he did, and now... There wasn't much to do.
Which leads to now! He was just... sitting there, staring at a wall. Riveting stuff.
Luckily, he wasn't destined to be forever bored, as suddenly, his door was blown up.
Silently, he turns to stare at the culprit, not moving from his spot. There, in the doorway, he saw a very upset Tutorial Terry holding a rocket launcher.
"YO! What are you? Deaf?! I was knockin' at your door for like, twenty minutes!" The penguin barked. Sillius just blinked, continuing to stare blankly at him. "What are you even doing?!"
"...Starin' at the wall." The adventurer answers.
"...You're fucking weird bruh," Terry deadpans. "There is a letter waiting for you at the front desk, you better hurry up and get it."
And with that, he waddles off.
Immediately Sillius gets up, jumping out of his chair. He sprints out of his room and down the hall, excitement pumping through his veins.
He comes to a skidding halt in front of the receptionist's desk, giving the person behind the desk an expectant look. They let out a small sigh before taking out a pale green envelope, which he quickly takes.
The text on the envelope is different from the letters sent before. It read, in an elegant font, 'URGENT: To Sillius, From Mayor Thaniyel.'
A pit of dread opens in his stomach. Ever since he fought the Mayor's son- Brad- at the top of that ancient tree, he had been keeping up with the boy's recovery. He constantly offered help, but with what the Mayor had been telling him, everything seemed to be under control.
But with this envelope... the big letters spelling out 'URGENT'... He wasn't so sure about that anymore.
He slowly walks back to his room, sitting on the edge of the bed. Here, in relative privacy (couldn't be completely so, given his door was blown to smithereens) he carefully opens the letter.
'Hello, Sillius,
I write this letter to you with urgency, so I will skip all the filler.
This morning, when I went to check on Brad, the doctors attending to him informed me that he had gone missing.
I am sorry to ask this of you, and I completely understand if you can't, but would you please help me find-'
