Thor POV

"What's wrong with him?"

"He's pissed. Thinks he failed. Which he did, but there's a lotta that going around, ain't there?"

"Point Break, what happened to your hair? And your eye?"

I simply stare at Tony, and then it begins to thunder outside. Lightning flashes, and the power flickers.

"Pal, I think that was a bad question."

"Hey, Thor, buddy. Are you.. are you okay?"

I can't feel my feet. They're so numb. My shoes are too tight.

"H...Thor....re you hun...gry?"

I'm so confused, I look around, but everything is blurry. Nothing makes sense. Every sound sounds like I'm underwater.

"Thor. Hey. Right here."

I blink, and my eyes focus on Natasha. She is pushing a bowl of snacks towards me. My stomach growls, and I snatch several snacks out of the bowl. She chuckles, but I couldn't care less.

"Hey. Thor. You really should sleep."

I hear Steve coming up. His voice sounds tinny. There's a hand on my shoulder. "Thor...can you hear me?"

I grumble, "I lost my eye, not my ears."

A blanket is laid on me. I mumble, "Thanks."

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Should have gone for the head."
The Bifröst carries me to New Asgard. I land on the ground. My feet are still numb.
"You will...never be...a god."
"Hold on....is that..."
"The King has arrived!"
They're all so blurry. I'm so numb. I can't feel a damn thing. Where...where am I?
I look at the crowd of my people, a much smaller group than I remember. The nothing only intensifies. And yet....oh God. It hurts. It's fucking excruciating. My people...Loki, Heimdall, Bruce....all my damn fault.
My fault my fault my fault my fault my fault-
"...what happened to you?"
My eyes begin to tear. I can't do it. They're dead. They're all dead.
But at least she is alive.
No...I must make sure she is real. I toss fruit snacks at her. When they bounce off her, I embrace her tightly.
"Brother?"
"Welcome back, Thor. Saw you coming."
I whisper, "Lost my mind. That's what. I'm hearing them. And I know they're dead."
She separates from me, holding my shoulders. "Who, Thor? Who do you hear?"
I look over her shoulder to see Loki and Heimdall. No...They're dead. I watched them die.
Loki steps closer, and I pull away from Brunnhilde, throwing more fruit snacks. When Loki catches them with a small grin, I throw my arms around them.
"I'm here, brother. I'm here."
The sun is too bright in my remaining eye. Loki is going on and on about various topics, and I'm half listening. I really wish I could understand, but I can't focus.
"....so you haven't told me what happened yet, where you've even been all this time. We were told there was a Snap.. or a Blip. It's all over the news. Governments are falling, it's madness."
