Jojo's POV:

I thought to myself, maybe I don't need to be popular. Maybe one or two friends is all I need. I don't need to be popular. Popular isn't cool. It's dumb. I'm just gonna have some fun. "Do you wanna come over?" Mackenzie questioned me. She sounded nervous. She probably never had any friends. "Sure! Just let me ask my mom!" I said it with a smile and she was extremely happy.
Phone call:
Jojo: Hey mom!
Mom: what's up?
Jojo: Could I go to my friend Mackenzie's house after school?
Mom: Sure, be home at 6:30.
Jojo: thanks! Love you, bye.
Mom: Bye hun.
*End Call*
Jojo's POV:
"I can go!" I squealed to Mackenzie. I've never been this excited about hanging out with someone. "Yay! I can't wait!" Mackenzie squealed back. She was so excited. I can't wait.
*Time skip after school*
Mackenzie's POV:
I'm so excited for Jojo to come over today. I can tell Maddie can't chase her away like all the friends I ever make. She's nicer to me, nicer then Maddie, but Maddie isn't nice to me. I put on a swimsuit cover because we are going swimming in my pool. Maddie will be swimming too. We put a divider. We got the deep end, they got the shallow. It's always been like this.
