Prologue

My eyes shot open as I bolted upright,, looking to my left to see the time, 02:00, "Up 'n at 'em," I said to myself as I swung my legs over the side of the bed, I hopped off the bed and looked up at the top bunk, "Ey, Ral, get your old ass up." I said playfully as I slapped his face lightly a couple of times, hugging his head as I whispered "Come on old man! We're being deployed."

The man groaned as he got up, rubbing his face as he looked at the energetic woman. "Yeah yeah." He groaned as he squinted his eyes at me, the man groaned, hopping off the bunk sleepily, "Kaiju's a category 3, biggest bastard yet. Code name, Knifehead." I said as I looked at him with a smirk on my face. "What time is it?" He asked me who was currently putting on my favorite red and blue short sleeve as I smiled at him, my hazel eyes gleaming, "Like two in the mornin" Ral paused as he looked at the me with wide eyes, "A.M.?" He asked as he rubbed the back of his neck, "Yep." was the nonchalant reply as he shook his head before walking over to the bathroom.

"What do ya say? Fifth notch on the belt?" I asked the man as I raised my right burly arm, we did a secret handshake though Ral's was a bit slow since he had just gotten up.

A knock sounded at the door before a man's voice sounded through the metal, "Come on Beckets. Time for the drop." The man walked away as we continued getting ready. I stared at the steel of the grenade pendant around my neck as I kissed the metal.

"Hey kid." I turned around to look at Raleigh as I tilted my head, "Yeah?" I asked as I put a hand on my hip, "Don't get cocky," he said with a smile, I rolled my hazel eyes.

Timeskip (according to the movie time skip)

I walked beside Raleigh, our leather jackets matching with Gipsy's logo on the back as well as her name surrounding it. I had a smirk on my face whilst the old man had a faint smile on his face from my attitude. We walked down the hall, passing by the sign on the wall that read, 'A 8 Lv-42'. We walked through the door and into the room, the workers looking at us as one of them greeted us, well, greeted my brother, "Good morning sir!" The man said as he saluted, my smirk grew as I looked at the guys, "All right, let's suit up and kick some fuckin' ass!" I exclaimed as my brother rolled his eyes. We both put on the under suit that was a shiny black as we waited for the other guys to finish assembling our suits, we turned left 90 degrees as two men came up with the back plates of the drivesuit. Clicking them into place as two more men came over to each of us and put the chest plates on. The men put the rest of the armor on, one of the guys screwing in something on my back as another guy reached into a box and pulled out a metal spinal cord that would attach to where the spine was located, the pieces clicking into place as we put our helmets on, the yellow visor rolling down as we waited.

Lights turned on in a metal room that had gears and cogs everywhere, a hatch at the back of the room opening as we stepped inside, two metal contraptions stretching down from the ceiling as we walked in front of them, me on the left whilst my brother was on the right. Clicking our metal boots into some clamps as they locked down on them. The contraptions from the ceiling connecting to our back plates as the men screwed in some of the bolts to stabilize the hold on the metal contraptions, wrist cuffs clamping down on each of our wrists as two white disk like things flew up from the floor, one being caught in my left hand while my brother caught the other one in his right.

" : Good morning, Becket siblings! : " I smiled as I clicked a few buttons on the pad hanging from the ceiling.

"Tendo, what's happening my man?" I asked as my brother brought his hand up and clicked his mic for the comm link, "How'd that date with Alison go last night, Mr. Choi?"
