taehyun has been thinking about this thoroughly and he finally made his decision. as you can guess, taehyun decided to confront his father.
"dad. mr lee. I've decided to tell you the truth. I'm.. I don't agree with this marriage. I'm unworthy for cheong-ah. I'm afraid this marriage gonna be a fail and cheong-ah could not find her happiness with me. I'm sorry dad. I know you're gonna be disappointed I know you're gonna get mad but I really can't go along with this. and this would make you hate me even more but dad, I've decided to tell you the truth so I will only tell you the truth. dad, I'm actually gay and I'm currently in love with another guy. so dad, please stop all of this agenda cause I- "
pang ! silence suddenly filled the room as mr kang has lost his patience. cheeks flashing red considering how strong the slap is. not just taehyun, the lee's family was also speechless by the sudden act of mr kang.
"get out of my sight before it gets worse. NOW! " mr kang raised his voice that the workers were shocked hearing the sudden shouting.
taehyun knows that if he insists, something worse will really happen. he quickly walks away from the office room giving some space for his father to swallow the fact. taehyun drives back home locking himself in the room. he knows his father was mad.
taehyun realised he made a mistake when he said he's gay. the fact that his father is homophobic makes him even more scared with the fact that mr kang could do anything in his power to break them apart. as he's thinking about it, he also realised he might put beomgyu in danger.
if he's still hanging out with beomgyu, mr kang might chase after beomgyu and do anything to him as long as he stays away from taehyun. knowing his father well, taehyun decides to stay away from beomgyu... for the older's safety..
