Suddenly, the bus halted. The sudden break made her fully conscious. Light harshly invaded her eyes, startled by this she closed her eyes immediately.
When she opened her eyes and looked out of the window she was met with a drastic change in scenery, from the barren grass lands from before, to a well off and well populated neighbourhood. It somehow had a large shopping mall, hospitals, and other amenities that one would have expected to find in a city, not a town like Dreaya.
But they were barred from entering by gates that had a golden glint, one that could only possibly be gold. The driver was on the phone for a while, after which the gates automatically slid to the side, letting the bus enter the suburban dream that was Dreaya.
