Wife: "You have only one chance to answer here. But know one thing... If you choose your obsession, you might as well pack all your things out, because we'll get a divorce. While in your coma, ownership of your dad's company fell on me, since we weren't sure you would survive; as well as ownership to this house and lots more."

If Mike's body could inflate with blood, it would've done that, as all blood washed out of his now pale face. He was so shocked he couldn't speak anymore.

Kid 1: "If only you paid attention to us and your business, you would've realized, and it would've been settled. So, now dad, choose."

Mike looked at his family, but only one thing was in his mind; A name; Abby. He smiled bitterly, packed his essentials and walked out the door without looking back, leaving his family crying as they watched him leave.

Mike started his trip back to the Amazon in a private jet. As they neared the location of the first crash, the last thing Mike remembered before drifting off to sleep, was sipping a glass of wine while thinking of Abby.

Mike woke up on a bed with a bandaged, pounding head. Looking down on him was Abby. She smiled and started crying.

"Mike! My love, you're back! You got hurt in the battle, and we didn't know if you would make it. You were out for a year"

A year!? Mike was confused.

"Because of your respect in the tribe, everyone made sure you were kept safe till you wake up, or till you passed away. Our kids are  currently out but you'll see them soon"

She said, while crying tears of joy.

Mike didn't even know the tribe had the ability to take care of anyone in a coma for a year. It seems there were things he still wasn't privy to. He realized they must've won the war, since everyone seems happy and casual. He suddenly remembered who it was that almost killed him in the battle and was about to say something, when they all heard a loud noise outside. Everyone but Mike was wondering what the sound was.

Mike knew instantly what the sound was. It was a plane. It sounded like it was going down, and he had a thought that it would crash. And then it happened.

BOOOOM!

Everyone heard the sound, and they all fell to the ground due to the tremors and due to fear. But what Mike noticed soon after was that everyone suddenly got up and kept acting like it never happened. Like they had no recollection of what happened. In that moment, he realized that reality, as he knew it, wasn't as it seemed.

While Mike tried to understand what was going on, all he could say was

"What. The. Fuck."
