Chapter 11

~Seonghwa~ 

We sat in the hallway, crossing our fingers as the doctors checked on Wooyoung. The doctor was unsure if he could come home soon, but since he was showing improvement, they assumed he could go home in a week or so. I was worried since Wooyoung had been moving around more and more in the last two days. "Ugh," San sighed, rolling his eyes. "Stop being impatient, you big baby," Jongho scoffed. I giggled slightly at the two arguing as I turned my gaze to my feet. I couldn't help but be nervous. I looked up and immediately moved my gaze towards Mingi. Mingi was sat up against the wall with his arms crossed as it was clear he was nervous as well. Luckily Mingi was doing better these last few days but he still wasn't his normal self again. I wondered if he would ever be himself again. Would he ever stop flinching at every touch. Would he ever be able to not panic when out of the house. I slightly shook my head as I was trying to stop thinking about it knowing I would only make myself upset. I heard the door open and quickly jolted my head to the side so my attention was now on the door. The doctor walked out a little surprised on how fast he caught our attention. "Is he alright?" Hongjoong was quick to question. "Yes, everything is okay. He should only need to stay here for another two or three days maybe less if he shows more improvement" The doctor smiled slightly as he swiveled his head between the seven of us. "But when he is home he will still need to rest and take it easy. I suggest he doesn't go back to work for at least a month maybe even longer." The doctor gazed around to see us all look relived. I let out a breath finally feeling like I could breathe without worrying about Wooyoung. It was like a weight was lifted off my chest. Since finally someone had confirmed he would be okay. "Ok thank you doctor" Yuhno chimed in as the doctor nodded and walked away. We all quickly piled into the room to see Wooyoung siting up in his bed smiling at us all. Yunho, Mingi and I went to go sit on the couch as Jongho, San, Hongjoong, and Yeosang went to go sit it the chairs that were scattered across the room. Once I sat down Mingi was quick to rest his head on my shoulder as Yunho was quick to get a hold of his hand. Mingi looked peaceful and comfortable which was now a rare sight. I could tell the whole room was watching him and the only one who hadn't noticed was him. We all just sat there for a whole minute just watching Mingi. We all had better things we could be doing or talking about but it's like none of it matter anymore. I didn't understand why we all just had the same thought to just sit and watch mingi but we did. It was almost like we felt obligated to like maybe it would help him sleep better if we all intently watched him. "How are you feeling?" Hongjoong asked breaking the silence as his gaze was now on Wooyoung.  "Oh I'm feeling ok my side just is a little sore. The doctor said it would be like that for a while" Wooyoung replied with a gentle smile. "Umm I'm going to go get coffee do you guys want anything?" Yeosang asked standing up. It felt kind of random to all of a sudden just go get coffee especially after we found out Wooyoung could come home soon. I felt kind of bad since no one was really acknowledging it. But I knew Wooyoung probably didn't care that much and was just happy that we were all together and okay. "Yea can you get me and iced americano" Yunho asked "Where are you getting it from?" San asked "Probably the Starbucks down the street or something" He replied "Thank god I could not have drunk another sip of hospital coffee I would have died" San dramatically gagged "See I can't even think of that coffee without gagging" he stated "Oh my god you are so dramatic you big baby" Yeosang snarked rolling his eyes "Hey I'm not a baby. Your just mad that I'm right" San said as if he had actually just won some kind of argument "What do you mean your right? Just stop being a baby so I can go" Yeosang mocked "Can I get an iced americano" Hongjoong asked "Me too" Wooyoung chimed in. "Can I go with you?" Mingi asked. Mingi's eyes were now open, and he was sat up straight which none of us had realized until now. "Oh shit your awake. Yea sure" Yeosang replied clearly surprised. "Do you mind if I come too?" Jongho chimed in "Yea sure you can come too" Yeosang replied clearly a little surprised that Jongho and Mingi wanted to go with him.
