~Jongho~
We walked down the long street lined with buildings. Mingi stayed close to us holding either me or Yeosang's hand. We were silent only breaking in here and there but never for longer than two minutes. We just didn't have anything to talk about. But it wasn't an uncomfortable silence it was that kind of silence that you could just sit in for hours and be perfectly okay with it. We walked closer and closer to the shop as we approached the front door. I grabbed the handle opening it so Mingi and Yeosang could walk in. After they walked in I was close to follow. Yeosang walked up to the counter as Mingi was clinging to his side. "Hello how can I help you today." The Man behind the counter cheerfully chimed. Assuming by the nametag n his apron he is name was Aiden. He seemed nice but his cheerful tone just seemed to piss me off. Probably because i was just jealous on how cheerful someone could be especially right now. "Yes, can I get six iced americanos please" Yeosang asked trying his best to match the overly cheerful tone. "Yes, that will be 17.23" He replied "Ok" Yeosang said handing him a 20-dollar bill. "Here's your change. The coffee's will be done in a few minutes we'll call you up when there done." The man said handing Yeosang the many coins and two 1-dollar bills. Yeosang began to walk over towards an empty table with four seats and me and Mingi followed. "Did we miss any meetings this past week?" Mingi questioned. Mingi hadn't really been paying any attention to work and hadn't even cared enough to look what we were missing "Yea I think we only missed like two or three meetings nothing important though" Yeosang answered "We just have a shit tone of paperwork to do" I said chiming in. "But you don't have to go back to work right away we can handle everything" Yeosang added "No, I want to go back to work" Mingi stated making it very clear with his low tone that this wasn't up for debate. Although I wanted to fight him on it I knew it was better to deal with this later than right now. "I'm going to the bathroom" Mingi stated as he stood up walking away to a door the was hidden in the back of the coffee shop that you wouldn't be able to find without the annoyingly large sign that was hanging right above it. I saw Mingi disappear behind the door as I moved my gaze to my feet. I couldn't believe Mingi was still thinking about work. That's all he ever thought about. God why couldn't he just focus on himself for once! I was frustrated how were we suppose to help Mingi get better if he didn't have any plans on trying to get better. Knowing Mingi his plan was to probably push this down and try to ignore it and act like it never happened. He did that with everything. Once something bad happens he is quick to just ignore it even if it's still hurting and eating away at him. "Six Iced americanos!" The man yelled from behind the counter. I stood up and walked over to the counter grabbing the coffees and thanking him before walking back to the table
~25 minutes later~
Almost half an hour had pasted and Mingi was still not back me and Yeosang were getting worried. "Should we go check on him?" I asked as Yeosang was quick to nod his head. Maybe he was scared that he would seem to overprotective or something if he was the first one to bring it up. We both stood up and paced over to the bathroom. I slightly pushed the door open peeking in "Mingi!" I called out but got no response. I walked in and saw that only one stall was closed. I looked at the ground to see small drops of blood. I was quick to pull on the stall door. It was quick to open and reveal an unconscious and beaten Mingi. "Mingi!" I yelled. Yeosang quickly came up next to me to see what happened and was just as shocked as I was at the revolting sight. Mingi was sat up against the bathroom stall wall as his shirt was laying right next to him. His pants were around his ankles along with his underwear. Mingi's chest had two very noticeable stab wounds. His legs were covered with light purple bruises that were still forming. His legs and arms looked the same. His neck was covered with hickeys which made me want to puke. I quickly got down on my knees pulling him away from the wall. Holding him close to my chest "Holy shit" Yeosang yelled. I assumed he was still in shock and so was I. I could feel the tears dripping down my cheeks. "His back" Yeosang stuttered. I quickly turned my head and gasped as I saw his back. His back had the Song carved in Korean on his back. Song like his last name? What the actual fuck. "Call Hongjoong and 911" I yelled. "Hey Mingi" I called "Baby can you hear me?!" I muttered. He lowly groaned as he shifted in my arms. I just held him tighter burying my face into his shoulder "Baby please stay with me I need you. We all need you" I murmured. Tears were streaming down my face as I was audibly sobbing. Why did this have to happen? Why to Mingi? Why? Why now? Why after he's already been through so much? I pulled my head away anazlyng him a bit more to see both his ankles and wrist had bruises that made it seem as if they tied him up. I turned face away letting out a dry gag as I couldn't bare to look at these horrible wounds any longer. I shifted him slightly pulling up his underwear and pants as he lowly groaned which made me feel a bit more calmer knowing that he was still somewhat responding. Tears blurred my eyes as I gave his pants one final tug before once again pulling him as close to me as possible.
