in turn of the recent events that has occurred you ended up needing to get stitches for how deep the cut was on your arm.

by the time you were done with the hospital and the police questions and your mom's questioning it was already the day you were supposed to go back to school.

everyone had been blowing up your phone, it was beginning to stress you out everytime your phone rang. but ever since that night there hadn't been any call or text from the unknown number.

the ghostface costume had etched its way into your mind creeping you out even more. it didn't help your situation that as soon as it got on the news that you had been attacked that popular podcaster rika was quick to talk about it just like she was with mai's death.

speaking of mai's death, maki hadn't texted back. from the overwhelming consumption of worry you texted nobara hoping she had an update on maki.

of course knowing how close they were nobara was fast with texting back that maki had been staying at her house for the past week that school had been canceled and that it had been rough to say the least.

knowing maki she would most likely be putting up a tough front like she always has from the day you met her.

as the school day went on everyone was asking y/n questions, but no one even asked how she was they just wanted the gossip of it all.

it was even worse for maki, but since she had emitted a back the fuck away from me typa aura no one walked up to her but that didn't mean that anyones eyes were off of her because that was far from the truth. everyones eyes were on her.

no one talked about it at lunch it was like everyone was trying to get back to normal after a week of recent events. y/n hadn't told anyone about the messages or the call, not even the police when they were questioning her.

she just wanted to figure it out herself, that attack and the messages must've meant something directly aimed at her.

everyone at the lunch table definitely had the nervous look on there face, it was like they knew they had to be on guard.

this town was small, anyone could've been the murderer.

feeling a tap on the should y/n looked to the right to see fushiguro that was seated right next to her.

"what's up?" she asked her head cocking to the side in question.

it was fushiguro's eyes that left y/n for a brief second glancing over at okkostu who was eyeing him back as he talked to her.

"can i talk to you for a second?... alone?" catching her interest she nodded her head and her and fushiguro got up telling the rest of the group they'd be back. the excuse being the book club they were in regarded their attention.

"oh did you guys need help with anything?" a cheery voice had stopped them from walking off. it seemed the book club excuse that fushiguro had said wasn't taking into account that okkostu was in it.

"no." with a simple straightforward answer y/n saw the tension between them looking side to side at both of them.

"um it's okay okkostu we will be back okay?" looking towards fushiguro, y/n hurried after him seeing he started walking off not giving okkostu a chance to answer back.
