YOUR POV

Walking into my parents bakery I put on my uniform to get ready for customers. Tying the loose string of the apron around my waist, I hear the door chime ring. I turn around to see Ajax standing right inside the door.

"Hey there comrade! How you doing?"

"Oh Ajax it's nice to see you again. But to answer your question, I'm doing fine. What about you?"

"Good, but only if your around!"

I chuckle hearing the flirty response. Hearing the back door open I see my dad walk through the door with a baking sheet full of moon cakes.
( A moon cake is a traditional Chinese pastry filled with bean paste, lotus seed paste, or some kind of fruit.)

"Hey there sweetie. Oh Lord Harbinger nice to see you again."

Childe responded with a smile and a bow. The silence was broken when a customer opened the door.

" Y/n I want to talk about something when you are done with work. Is that good with you?"

" Of course."

Childe on nodded as he took a seat at a near by table. I focused on the customer and decided to start taking the order.

* A couple hours later *

I feel as sweat rolls down my temple while I try to pack as many orders I can. Rush hour is the busiest part of the day. Well Lunar new year.

"My order needs a new moon cake, it's cracked."

" Hey there is a missing pastry in my order"

" Can I have a free bun"

Everything felt like it was spinning from the chaos in the bakery. Usually it's not this busy. Feeling a tap from the back of my shoulder I see my father mouthing the words ' Don't worry we got this'  Moving past my other co-workers, I head to the door near the dumpster. Taking in the nice fresh air. I realize that Childe is standing near the river directing the fatui soldiers on what to do.  Looking closer a Childes face I never did see how pretty his eyes were. Without thinking I mumbled.

"Handsome man"

Blushing, I see him turn his head in my direction while jogging over. In mere seconds he is right in front of me.

"Sooo comrade how long were you going to stare at me?"

" I wasn't staring, I was just seeing what you were doing"

"Oh Y/n I...never mind, anyway is your shift over for the day?"

"Yea, well at least that's what I think."

"That's good because I was wondering if you would want to take a walk around Liyue with me?"

"Oh I would love too"

With that we started walking.

*A few minutes of walking*

Coming up near a cliff, we decide to take a rest. Sitting down on the grass me and Childe look out into the sun. The comfortable silence between us was broken when Childe spoke up.

"Y/n I know how you look at me when you see me. Your eyes have love in them when you look at me. Do you love me or is that what I want?"

"Wh-what you want? Wait what do you mean?"

"I think you know what exactly I mean."

As Childe lifted up my chin he looked at me with consent, I nodded. When both of our lips met it was like fireworks had gone off in my head. Lifting my arms around Childes neck I pulled him into a deeper kiss. Childe pulled my waist closer to him. All had gone well but then I felt a sharp pain on the side of my stomach. Pulling away from the kiss I looked down to see an arrow in my side with blood rapidly flowing out of my body.

"Shit"

Childe spoke when he saw the blood. He made me lay on the ground while he dashed towards the treasure hoarder who shot me. With the amount of blood leaving my body I felt my vision turn black as lose consciousness.

*After waking up*

As my eyes see light shine through, I open my eye lids to be met with Qiqi staring at me.

"Qiqi what are you doing?"

Qiqi didn't respond but just stared me. Staring at each other in awkward silence Qiqi poked at something next to me. Feeling a movement next to me, I lifted me head up to see see Childe laying his head on the edge of the bed. Taking a closer look I noticed that his eyes were very red and puffy. Qiqi continued poking him until he stir awake.

"Qiqi what are yo- Y/N ARE YOU OKAY? LET ME GET BAIZHU!"

But before he could get Baizhu, Baizhu was already there turning the corner to enter the room.

"Now now dear Tartaglia let's not speak too loudly. It might cause Y/n's ears to bust."

That shut Childes mouth quickly. After Baizhu checked my injuries, he gave me some medicine and told me how to take care of my body while it's healing. I waved to both Qiqi and Baizhu as the took off to see another patient. Looking over at Childe I could see that he wanted to say something important.

"Jax I know you want to say something. Please do tell."

"Y/n I understand if you don't feel safe when you around me... you know because of what happened. What I'm saying is that I don't think you should be around be anymore. I have enemy's and they might har-"

I shut him up by kissing him passionately. Feeling the warmth in my body start to boil up again, I lean into the kiss more. Childe started to kiss me rougher than before. Biting down my bottom lip, he stuck his tongue through. As our saliva mixed I held onto his neck to deepen the kiss. I grab onto Childes shirt to pull it over his head.

"My my Childe I didn't know you could get such a beautiful...anyway we to talk about something important."

Pulling away from the kiss as fast as I can, I look over to see the Regator smiling widely. Childe didn't even mind having his shirt have way up his body. But he did sure mind someone barging into our make out session. Blushing I lay my head on Childes chest to not let him look at my blushing face.

"Panalone I will talk with you outside."

Getting off Childe, him and Panalone leave. I shove my head into my pillow thinking about the kiss. I start to feel tired from the kissing session. I slide under the covers and pull my pillow under my head. With Childe return I start to doze off. I feel myself getting spooned my Childe. As we both started to lose consciousness I say to Childe

"I love you Ajax. And please don't push me away."

"Never my dear."

Sorry for the late chapters of I've been really busy with Volleyball and my soccer tryouts are starting. I will try to post on either Friday, Saturday or Sunday!
