Zenitsu was your very clingy and talkative boyfriend. fighting demons was a scary task and dangerous job for everyone and the fact he only knew one form of thunder breathing was of course a danger for him and the main reason you worried so much about him when he was sent on missions without anyone from the Kamaboko Sqaud or You.

As your thoughts kept swirling around and engulfing your very being you were snapped out of it abruptly by arms wrapping tightly around your middle and loud but recognisable sobs from none other than your boyfriend Zenitsu, who just got back from a mission. "Zeni?" You questioned as your loveable boyfriend blabbered out words through his incoherent sobs rendering you more confused than before.
He sniffled a little and slowly calmed down as you placed your hands on his cheeks and used your thumbs to wipe his tears away "What's the matter, Zenitsu?" You asked soothingly, knowing to take your time with the loveable idiot. He took a few breaths and slowed down his crying before speaking "I almost died! The demon was crazy strong and fast and it was taking all my teammates out from the shadows then I heard it run towards me so I tried to run off and it dashed against me and slashed my back! So I blacked out and then when I woke up I was the only one other than two others that lived" he explained with teary eyes.
"It's okay, you're safe now with me." You offered a small smile to try cheer him, he smiled back and pulled you tightly into him, embracing you a little too hard but nothing you haven't already gotten used to from being the infamous Zenitsu Agatsuma's boyfriend. "Should you even be walking around? You said you got slashed across the back no?" You gave a questioning glance and tilt of your head making him look at you "well yeah but I needed to see you! You missed me right? Right?" He asked happily as a faint blush dusted his cheeks and a bright smile graced his lips making you smile and nod at the energetic boy. After some time you forcefully dragged your sobbing boyfriend back to the butterfly mansion to rest despite his loud protest on how he would be "just fine" what you gave a roll to your eyes too.
"I don't want to stay alone!" He weeped into your chest, clutching your demon slayer uniform tightly in his fists like you would evaporate if he even dared loosen his grip "Stay with me.." he begged eagerly and glanced up at you with the most pleading expression you've ever seen to date, how could you say no? "Alright, alright.." you let a quiet chuckle out as to not disturb the others in the hospital ward more, his face beamed with joy as you shuffled into the bed next to him, his arms immediately wrapping around your abdomen and pulling you as close as he could, his face snuggled into your hair and his whole body basically curled up to you, your arms wrapped around his chest as you cuddled up to him too. "Goodnight, Zeni.." you yawned out.
Both of you fell asleep in each other's embrace, content with your peaceful slumber.
