Ch.4 complicated feelings

Y/n pov

You woke sweating from have another nightmare. This time it was at camp and you were with max when you were faced with (worst fear) then you woke up. You decided to go to go to the docks since you knew it would be hard going to sleep again.
'This sucks' you think to yourself with your head down walking past the trees over to the dock.
"It's so fucking cold" you whisper shivering.
"Tell me about it you hear a high pitch voice say.
"Ah fuck!" You yell as you fall from surprise.
You look up to see Nikki, Nerris, and Ered.
"Oh Nikki you scare, uh what's your name again?" Nerris asked. Nikki told you about her but you haven't talked to her yet.
Ered reaches her arm out and helps you up.
"Thanks", you say looking at Ered you turn to Nerris, "and it's y/n btw." You say smiling.
"Want to come with us?" Nikki asks
You're still shivering cold "sure uh to do what."
You ask shaking.
"It's suuuper cool, every Friday all the campers sneak out and party by the dock." Ered tells you while you guys are heading there.
"Oh that's cool." You say
As you guys are walking you hear max yelling
"Give it back asshole!" You see neil holding max hoodie as he runs past us.
You see max again.
"Neil I swear to go-"
You see him and he runs right into you.
"Ah shit sorry" max says helping you up you couldn't help but blush as you grabbed his hand.
"Max! Look where you are going!" Nikki yells at him with her arms on her hips.
"I can't Neil took my hoodie is trying to hide it from me again!" Mas yells grabbing the bridge of his nose.
"Sorry again y/n my bad." He says turning his head and running in the direction Neil went.
"I'm sorry too." You say blushing as he runs away. You tilt your head you know you're really blushing but thankfully it's dark so no one can tell.
'He's kinda funny and cute-' wait no way I just thought that.
"Ah silly max and Neil they do that almost everyday it's kinda turned into a competition." Nerris says Nikki and Ered laugh in response.
"Well let's get going Harrison said he's going to start a fire." Nikki said as we start walking.

Max pov

"Neil god dammit just give it back!" I yell chasing Neil we turn a corner and see everyone sitting down by the fire.
"Fine but that means I won." Neil says smirking.
"Fine just give it to me I'm freezing." I say snatching it from him and putting it on over my camp Campbell shirt.
"Come on asshole let's go with everyone else." I told Neil.
"Finally you guys are here." Nurf says rolling his eyes.
"Ya ya." I say sitting on the only spot on the bench in between Nikki and y/n.

Time skip 2:15am

"Omg I'm zo glad we all go to ze zame school."
Dolph says eating a s'more.
I smile (which I rarely do) and say, "it's awesome," I turn to y/n and see her shaking cold
"What school do you go to y/n?" I ask looking at her she jumps a little probably zoned out.
"Oh I go to (school name) a few hours away from here." Y/n said smiling at me
" *yawn well guys I'm heading to bed Nikki wanna come with Nerris." Asked standing up stretching.
"Ya good night guys." Nikki says following Nerris.
"Vya I'm going to bed too." Dolph tells everyone while saying goodnight.
Now it's just me Neil y/n and nurf.
I turn to y/n and see she's still shaking.
"Hey uh y/n you ok?" I ask looking at her. She turns to me smirks, and says, "ya just cold."
I look at her and take off my hoodie as I hand it to her blushing.
"Here take my hoodie if you are cold." I say to her looking away so she doesn't see me blushing.
She takes it and smirks.
"Why thank you maximum." She says glaring.
I hit her side with my elbow.
"Never say that again" I tell her laughing she's laughing now too.
I start getting tired and I notice Neil already left "ok well I'm going to bed guys" I tell y/n and Nurf is already half asleep.
Y/n looks at me and smiles
"I'll come with." She says getting up and putting on the hoodie.
We start walking I see her smiling with her head down. We are almost the same height. She's like less than an inch taller so not by much.
I feel something graze my hand then grab it?
I look down and see we're holding I see her blushing I probably was too. Who knew she liked me.
We made it to the tents I let go of her hand.
"Hey uh so see you tomorrow I guess." I say.
She puts her hands in my packets and says, "ya I guess so"
"Bye max." She says waving.
And omg I think I'm dying
