Jae's phone was ringing off the hook. She had over a hundred missed calls from Ka'moni and she was worried sick, She called back and he was talking so fast that she couldn't understand a word he said.
"Slow down Ka'moni I can't understand you" She told him and he repeated what he said
"Can you please get Magic from the police station she got arrested and i'm in Savannah right now. I can't reach Marie can you please get my baby" He said and she grabbed her keys heading out the door with no questions asked. It was around 3am so she stopped at the atm to grab some money to bail her out.
"I got her. Ima call you when we get in the car stop worrying Ka'moni she's gonna be fine" Jae reassured him and hung up the phone. She got to the station in less than thirty minutes, even though this lil girl hated her she still would do anything for Ka'moni even if it meant spending a car ride with his daughter.
Jae walked into the police station and went to the front desk. It was an older black lady sitting there and drinking coffee, Jae cleared her throat trying to get the woman's attention
"I just posted a bond on Magic Rich" Jae said and the woman took her precious time and it was irritating the fuck out of her.
"You can go sit down and i'll let you know when she's released." The woman replied and Jae sucked her teeth.
It seemed like that time was going so slow, Jae had been waiting for at least two hours before she walked back up to the desk.
"Ma'am I don't mean to bother you but-" Jae began to speak but was rudely interrupted by the woman cutting her off
"I told you i'll let you know when she's released you can either wait or leave I honestly don't care" she said and Jae looked at her crazy as hell
"Like the fuck I said bitch I been waiting to fucking hours. Go get her" Jae finished her sentence and the woman couldn't get a word out Magic walked from the back and Jae could see that she had been crying, she was so pretty in person Jae wanted to give her a hug but knew Magic wasn't going for that
