The sun started to peak its way through the blinds, only giving a little amount of light to the bedroom. Meghan laid in her soft, warm bed. She always loved how warm her bed felt in the morning. She began to open her eyes to see small rays of light, illuminating the room just enough so she could make out her furniture. She rolled over to see Elliot still sleeping. He laid facing her, his chest exposed. She thought about how soft and peaceful he looked when he slept. She smiled.

All of a sudden she felt an arm wrap around her waist and pull her closer to him. His soft hands rubbed alongside of her bare hips. Elliot smiled and began to open up one eye as he tried to look at Meghan. "Good morning, beautiful" His voice said in a raspy tone.

"Good morning" She said and kissed his soft lips. She pulled away and he began to open both of his eyes. His blue eyes shined in the morning sun, making them brighter than normal. God, how she was so jealous of his beautiful blue eyes. It was almost looking at the daytime sky.

There was a few moments of silence between the two. They just laid there enjoying each other's company and embrace. She had wrapped her arm around the back of his neck and began playing with his hair on the back of his head.

"How was it?" Elliot asked.

Meghan blushed, knowing she had probably had the best night in the longest time last night. "It was great" She giggled.

"You felt so good" He hummed and moved his hand from her hip to her cheek, caressing her softly. She blushed. "I hope you know, I really like you, Lieu"

"I think you made that pretty clear last night" She flirted.

He rolled his eyes with a smile. "I just don't want you to feel like you're being used." He began to say and started playing with her hair. "I don't want this to be a one and done." He admitted. "But if you don't want to go into a relationship right-"

"El, it's not that I don't like you" She interrupted. His eyes turned from loving to confusion and concern. "I really like you, I just don't want to see you jump into anything right away. I want you to do what makes you happy"

"Doing you makes me happy" He stated bluntly. "Sorry, I'm not sure why I said that"

"Look, El, let's just not rush into things" She said.

"Okay. Im okay with that" He nodded. "So, just correct me if I'm wrong. We can still have our weekly dates, just no labels and hold back on the sex?"

"I mean the sex was more than great. At the risk of sounding desperate, if it happens again, it happens again. But yes, pretty much what you said" She stated.

"Okay. I will respect that" He said. "Can I just hold you for a little while longer."

She nodded and he pulled her closer to him. Her head was buried into his chest. He felt so warm, she felt so safe. She knew she was doing the right thing for him. She just didn't know if she was doing the right this for her. "I just, don't want to jump into anything and see either one of us get hurt, if this is just a fling" She admitted into his chest. She could hear his heartbeat pick up.

"I promise you, it's not just a fling" He stated. "I've had these feelings for a while now, since we first met for real at the bar" He held her tighter. The tender moment was quickly ruined by the sound of Elliot's phone. He groaned and he held her tight for a moment.  "Some days, I wish I could throw that thing out the damn window" He said annoyed as he let go of her and reach for his phone that was lying on the nightstand.

"Stabler" He answered. "Yessir.. Yep... I can be there" He said and sighed as he hung up the phone. He rolled to Meghan who looked at him upset knowing exactly what the phone call was for. "Hey, I'm so sorry. We just got some new evidence-"

"Go" She smiled. "It's okay. I understand"

He looked at her shocked which then turned into a smile. He wasn't used to someone being so understanding when it came to his on call profession. He kissed her again and rolled out of bed.

Meghan enjoyed the sight as Elliot began searching around for his clothes that were thrown all over the place. It made her giggle watching him look around and throwing her clothes around trying to find his. She took in and looked at his toned body. His abs, and his pecks. The biceps. And of course, can't forget, the his perfect ass. Looking at his body, looking at every inch of him, made her relive the night before.

And of course, Elliot was in work mode and paid no attention to the fact that this beautiful woman was ready for another round. Elliot began putting his clothes back on. Once Elliot was dressed enough he walked back over to Meghan, plating on last long kiss on her soft lips. "I'll call you, Lieu" he smiled softly.

She smiled back at him. "Be safe," she called to him as he grabbed his phone, keys, and wallet, and headed out the door.

Elliot began to make his way into the precinct. Captain, Finn, Munch, and Olivia were standing over by the board. He made his way over to them.

"So glad you could make it" Captain stopped running through evidence, to put Elliot on the spot. "I called you over an hour ago. Where have you been?"

"I had to get myself ready to come in" Elliot stated. Captain nodded and looked back at everyone else.

After his whole speech with the group, he had sent Olivia and Elliot, back over to the crime scene to see if anyone had missed anything. Elliot and Olivia grabbed their things and headed for her car. Once the two sat in the vehicle, Olivia looked over at her partner.

"You seem rather chipper today" She smirked.

"I guess I just had a good nights sleep" Elliot shrugged.

Olivia could look straight through his lies. after years of knowing her partner she could read him like a book. "Doesn't have to do with Meghan does it?" She smirked, making Elliot blush.

"Alright, you want the details" Elliot said, while Olivia nodded, like it was even a question. "Well, her and I went on an official date last night" He started. Olivia listened intently. "We went to this really nice restaurant, and I guess one thing led to another and we ended up back at her place"

"So that's why you were late!" Olivia joked. "Well for what it's worth, El, you deserve to be happy. Just don't go running head first like you normally do"

Elliot shot her a glare for a moment, then realized she was right. "We both agreed to just take things slow" He stated. "But, Liv, I really do enjoy her company. Everything about her is perfect." Elliot started rambling on and on about her. He couldn't hold the smile back any longer. The more he talked about her, the wider his smile grew.

Olivia smiled. It's been a while since she's seen Elliot this happy. "I'm really hoping for the best for you, El. I hope this works out for you" She smiled and felt his arm in a friendly way.
