In a world of screens and filtered dreams,
Reality's distorted, it seems.
We curate our lives, a highlight reel,
And compare our behind-the-scenes to others' big reveal. We're lost in a sea of information,
Where truth's a luxury, hard to obtain.
We're bombarded with noise, day and night,
And genuine connections, a rare sight. We yearn for authenticity, for realness too,
But often settle for a virtual "like" or two.
We're chasing clout, and followers, and fame,
And forgetting life's beauty, in the digital game. But still, we hold on to hope, a glimmer of light,
A chance to break free, from this virtual sight.
To find our true selves, in the midst of the haze,
And live a life that's real, in all its messy ways.So let's take a step back, and breathe, and be,
And find reality, in you and me.
