Jennie and his friends had arrived at the reunion when a classmate snidely remarked, "You must be living the dream, huh?" ending with a spiteful smile.

Jennie, puzzled, asked, "What do you mean by that?"

Just then, Kai, Jungkook, and Taehyung approached. Jungkook said, "Don’t pretend to be innocent. We all know what you do with your models during photoshoots."

Jennie understood they were referring to the rumors about him and his models. He knew it wasn’t entirely their fault for believing the gossip, given his own reputation as a flirt and a womanizer.

Eun Woo, however, was livid at their comments. He believed no one had the right to judge Jennie's life choices, especially at a reunion. With a smirk, he shot back, "Jungkook, oh wait, you're a professor now, right? I should give you some respect." Jungkook glared at Eun Woo, but Eun Woo continued, "Professor Jeon, we all know what you secretly do with your 'innocent' students behind closed doors."

Jungkook clenched his fists in anger, but before he could react, Mark intervened, "Professor Jeon, you were the bully in college. You never knew anything about studying and always passed through cheating. Who on earth made you a professor?"

Everyone laughed at Mark's jab, even Jungkook's bully friends. Jungkook silenced them with a glare, but Jennie's friends continued to laugh.

Wendy then said, "We didn’t engage with you bullies back in college, and we’re not interested in your nonsense now. We’re here for a reunion, not to listen to your crap."

Seulgi added, "And why are Jennie's rumors bothering you all so much?" Then, smirking, she said, "Do you wish your lives were as colorful as Jennie’s?"

Taehyung chuckled, "We have no interest in his life. Everyone knows those rumors are true."

From behind, someone said, "Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots."

Everyone turned to see Jisoo, Jennie’s cousin. Jennie smiled as he saw him and went to hug him, ignoring everyone else. "Hey, my handsome little cousin, how are you?" Jisoo asked.

"I’m good, hyung. How are you?" Jennie replied, hugging him back.

"I’m good," Jisoo said, then greeted everyone else, even the bullies, before walking away with Jennie.

Meanwhile, Rose and Lisa arrived just in time to hear Jungkook’s remarks to Jennie. Lisa rolled her eyes and mumbled, "These bullies haven’t changed even after all these years."

Rose noticed Jennie was silent, and her heart started to race as old feelings for Jennie resurfaced. Lisa's heart also pounded faster.

Both Rose and Lisa heard the entire conversation and the hug between Jisoo and Jennie. But suddenly, Irene shouted from behind, "Oh my God, Lisa, is that you after all these years?"

Jennie’s ears perked up, as did everyone else's, but Jennie turned the fastest and looked at Lisa.

Lisa gave a nervous smile and said, "Yeah, unnie, I’m here."

Irene hugged Lisa and then Rose. Rose slightly hit Irene’s arm and said, "Why didn’t you tell me our Lili is back from Thailand?"

Irene rolled her eyes and replied, "Because I knew you’d react like this."

Lisa noticed Jennie looking at her but standing next to Rose. She felt a pang of jealousy and hurt, thinking Jennie was still interested in Rose. On the other hand, Jennie’s world seemed to stop as he saw Lisa after so long. The large restaurant felt like it was just the two of them.

Mark teased, "Some people look like they’ve just been hit by Cupid’s arrow."

Everyone chuckled, except Jisoo, who had feelings for Rose since college but never expressed them because she was his cousin’s girlfriend and later his ex.

Wendy lightly hit Eun Woo and said, "Stop staring. It’ll make them uncomfortable."

Seulgi nudged Jennie and whispered, "Kim, if you’ve fallen for Rose again, just ask her to be your girlfriend. Staring like that is rude."

Jennie snapped back to reality and looked away. Jisoo then said, "Let’s go say hi to them."

Everyone agreed, pulling a reluctant Jennie along.

When they approached, Jisoo greeted them first, "Hi, beautiful girls."

Irene, Rose, and Lisa replied in unison, "Hi, oppa, how are you?"

Jisoo smiled and said, "I’m good. I’m sure you all are too, but Rose, how are you?"

Everyone noticed Jisoo’s special attention to Rose, but before Rose could answer, Eun Woo cut in, blushing, "Hi, Rose, how are you?"

Rose turned to Eun Woo and said, "Hi, Eun Woo. I’m good, and you?"

Jisoo glared at Eun Woo, but Eun Woo ignored him and replied to Rose, "I’m good, Rose."

Jennie watched the interactions, feeling a mix of emotions. Meanwhile, Jennie’s friends, except Jisoo and Eun Woo, turned to Lisa with flirtatious smiles.

"Hey, Lisa, looking stunning as always," Mark said with a wink.

"Wow, Thailand must have treated you well," Wendy added, giving her a playful nudge.

Seulgi, not wanting to be left out, chimed in, "Lisa, you’ve always been the star of the show, haven’t you?"

Jennie felt a surge of jealousy as he watched them flirt with Lisa. He couldn't stand the thought of them getting too close to her. Trying to hide his feelings, he turned to Rose, his ex, feeling a wave of nervousness. "Hi... r-ro-sie."

Rose, surprised at Jennie’s stutter, gave him a soft smile. "Hi, Jennie. It’s been a while."

Jennie managed a nervous smile, his eyes occasionally darting to Lisa. Gathering his courage, he turned to Lisa, his smile growing more genuine. "Hi, Lili."

Lisa blushed and replied, "Hi, Jen." They gazed at each other, their emotions palpable and the rest of the room fading away for a moment.

The tension between them was palpable, as old feelings and new emotions intertwined in the air.
