Kunikida as Sanji

Chapter Three - Huge Revolver Mutton Steak

After talking for a bit, a stocky average-sized man walked up to the six Armed Detective Agency members with a smile. He also has long brown hair and has a goatee, while also wearing sunglasses. He was holding a notepad in one hand and a pen in the other as he was wearing a chef's uniform.

"Good afternoon there, my name is Carne and I shall be your waiter for today" The man said introducing himself as he looked at the detectives.
"You are in a Chef's uniform though," Atsushi pointed out as he looked at Carne.
"That's because there's a lot of people and not enough waiters," Carne replied, smiling at the table, his eyes lingering on Kunikida for a bit longer. "Are you ready to order?" He asked, looking back at the group.

"Oh yes, I'll have the Seafood Fried Rice" Yosano announced as she was still looking at her menu.
"I guess I'll have the Tomahawk Spring Lobster please," Atsushi said with a small smile.
"I'll have the same as Atsushi" Kenji said, pointing at Atsushi with a smile as Atsushi smiled at Kenji.
"Can me and this idiot have the Creamy Crab Onigiri?" Ranpo answered as he referred to Dazai as the idiot. "What'll you have Kunikida-kun?" He added as he looked at Kunikida who was still looking at the menu.
Kunikida looked up at Ranpo then at Carne with a soft smile. "I'll have the Huge Revolver Mutton Steak"

"Huge Revolver Mutton Steak is a good choice, it's also the Owners son's first dish that was put on the menu" Carne explained with a pained smile as he misses the Owners son. "So your order is, one Seafood Fried Rice, two Tomahawk Spring Lobster, two Creamy Crab Onigiri and one Huge Revolver Mutton Steak?" Carne asked as he was reading what the detectives ordered. After six nods Carne took their drink orders and walked off to the kitchens.

Kunikida's eyes were a bit wide in shock, surprise and happiness since Carne had mentioned the Owner's son... Kunikida was happy that he was known and seen as the Owner's son.

"Here are your meals, One Seafood Risotto, One Seafood Paella and Lobster and one Creamy Crab Onigiri," A waitress said as she went to the table where the three Port Mafia members were seated. The waitress placed the Seafood Risotto in front of Kouyou, the Seafood Paella and Lobster in front of Akutagawa and the Creamy Crab Onigiri in front of Chuuya.
"Thank you" Akutawaga whispered with a nod towards the waitress as she walked to another table.

"Chuuya? Did you get Creamy Crab Onigiri~" Dazai asked as he was smirking, leaning over the back of his chair trying to snatch one of Chuuya's Creamy Crab Onigiris.
"Shut up Mackerel!" Chuuya shouted, pushing his plate across the table in front of Akutagawa who had already started eating his Seafood Paella and Lobster.
"You guys are making me hungry now" Ranpo whined, slouched on the table as he eyed Chuuya's plate of onigiri.
"Don't worry Ranpo-san, we'll be getting our food soon" Atsushi reassured, lightly patting Ranpo's back as he was smiling a bit.

"We waited ten minutes for our meal so you might as well wait while we eat," Kouyou teased, staring into Yosano's eyes while taking a bite of her food.
"You tease" Yosano grumbled, crossing her arms over her chest as she looked back at Kunikida who was writing in his notebook again.
"What ya writing Kunikida-san?" Kenji asked as he watched Kunikida write fastly in his notebook.
"Nothing important," Kunikida bluntly replied, putting his notebook away as he saw Carne walking back to the table.

"Here are your two Creamy Crab Onigiri, two Tomahawk Spring Lobster's, one Seafood Fried Rice and one Huge Revolver Mutton steak" Carne said, placing down the dishes in front of the six as they all had their respective dishes in front of them.

"Thank you" All six of the detectives said in usion as they smiled at Carne.
"Chibi look, I got the same dish as you" Dazai said with a big smile as he started eating his dish.
"I also have the same dish as you Dazai" Ranpo huffed, taking a bite of his Creamy Crab Onigiri.
"This looks yummy" Atsushi quietly observed as he was smiling widely, the scene making Akutagawa smile slightly.

Kunikida stared at his food with a smile, taking a bite out of it with a bigger smile. "It tastes the same," Kunikida whispered to himself, before taking another bite. "A few things taste different though" He muttered to himself afterwards. Ranpo looked up at Kunikida when Kunikida had started talking to himself, analysing why Kunikida was acting differently.


After all nine people from both the Port Mafia and Armed Detective Agency finished their dishes, Carne came back to take back the dirty dishes.

"How was everyone's meals?" Carne asked as he had all the dishes piled up.
"Good!" Kenji, Atsushi and Ranpo replied at the same time as they were smiling.
"It was very good, I see why the restaurant has a five star rating" Kouyou stated as Chuuya and Yosano nodded in agreement.
"I'll admit.. I love CRAB'S!" Dazai admitted loudly as he was smiling widely at Carne. Carne looked at Dazai with confusion before smiling again at the rest of the table.

"You overcooked the Mutton Steak by a few minutes and didn't season it properly," Kunikida remarked as he was now writing in his notebook again, ignoring the surprised looks he got from his co-workers, or the confused looks on the three Port Mafia members face, or the astonished and surprised look he got from Carne who nearly dropped all of the dirty dishes.
