Ch.1 Vampire blood

"So it's you that I have been sensing... Vampire!" An angry voice would sound out, a racking of a gun would be heard. I'd stop, slowly turning to see what became of the young boy I once new.

We'd lock eyes, he'd flinch slightly before firing the gun, I'd quickly draw my blade, slicing the bullet, one half skinning my shoulder. "Now now Z... surely I didn't change that much hmm? It's still me" I'd slowly say, keeping the blade drawn.

He'd took note of the sword before scoffing, keeping the gun pointed at me "so... it really is you... Toga has been keeping me up to date... you fed off of Yuki..." Zero would say rather angrily. I'd flinch when he said that, but when I did he would shoot at me again. I'd quickly slice the bullet out of the air, tensing from the stinging pain from the bullets grazing my skin.

"You certainly changed Grey... You're a monster" he would say and I'd huff in response. "Listen to me Z, its... more complicated then we thought. But... yes, I did... feed off of Yuki..." I'd admit, but my words costed me a barrage of enchanted metal.

I'd huff, slicing the bullets, grimacing as they'd knick my arms "Toga was right... but I didn't want to believe it... Grey..." he'd say angrily, fury and restraint in his eyes.

I'd narrow my eyes, sighing as I sheathed the blade, looking to him "Z... what happened... it's complicated, more then you think... specially my situation. But im still me..." I'd slowly say, which only caused another shot to be fired at me, I'd jump out of the way, huffing as I begin to move toward the school.

With my back turned, Zero would yell in anger, unleashing a hail of bullets toward me and as I gritted my teeth and turning in an instant, I'd slice the bullets on my way to him, stopping with the blade to his chin "Enough... Z, can you really not see me still? We grown since our youth and maybe... changed, but we're on the same side" I tried to reason with him.

He simply looked at me with hurt and betrayal in his eyes, the Bloody Rose was shaking in his hand as he kept it pointed at me. He then scrunched his face, baring his teeth, his own fangs showing slightly as his face now bore rage "Why! We slept in the same house! What of Yuki? You subjected her to the same fear! The nightmares!" He'd yell to me and I'd scoff, sighing in response.

"Z... I was always a vampire... my mother was a pureblood. My father was human... but I was raised human, like you Z. Till the true villans showed themselves" I'd try and explain.

His face still had great rage, but now mixed with curiosity and caution. "Always a vampire... you're just telling me you always have been a monster, just a Frankenstein on top of it. Toga told me a little about this cult you mentioned... maybe it's all made up" he'd answer, keeping his gun raised, but i'd be the first to put away my weapon, but he kept his trained on me.

"Z... please, don't make me defend myself against you... I don't wish to raise a finger against you" I'd plead, but he'd grit his teeth, squeezing the trigger, more loud bangs sound out, causing ne to move out of the way, slicing bullets as he keot his fire armed trained on me, despite the speed I attempted to kite him.

"Is that what you told her when you bit into her vampire!" He'd growl, throwing punches and kicks in between his shots. I tried my nest to block them without retaliating, though it took a few clips and grazes before finally stepping inwards, then around.

I came in from under his blind spot as I sheathed the sword, rising to grab his wrist from under him, pulling his arm above his head, the gun now trained in the air, we now locked gazes.

He fought against my grip, almost escaping it before throwing another punch at me, only to for me to tilt my had back slightly, and when his arm crossed his body, I used my other hand to grasp his neck.
