Ayesha rolled her eyes as she took her place near Kartik making Kartik grin to himself for whatever reason.
''Hi bossy beauty, you're here too. You know sometimes it feels like you're stalking me" He teased
"I don't have free time like others that out of 8 billion people in the world I'll stalk you" She replied back
"Sureeee"
Ayesha rolled her eyes yet again when the teacher started making an announcement
"So I'm going to take names for the selected people in the annual function event taking place a week before Diwali"
"Piano - Aarvi and Rahul"
"Guitar - Kartik and Aryan"
"Singing - Kartik and Ayesha "
At the last part both Kartik and Ayesha together shouted "WHAT"
"See guys you both are the best for dual singing here, you can sing any song, no restrictions from my side, even romantic songs are okay, try to work it out yeah?" The teacher casually replied unaware to the blunder she had just created. Everyone was left gossiping with one another while Ayesha and Kartik were both glaring at each other, neither of them seeming to like the others company.
"So..we need to work it out" Kartik said to Ayesha
"Yeah , need to" She replied giving emphasis on the word 'need to'
"You know I am not dying to work with you right, stop giving me so much attitude" Kartik replied getting a little visibly frustrated as he took a deep breath.
Ayesha calmed down a little and replied "Neither am I dying to work with you, and I am not giving you any attitude. Also stop calling me those stupid nicknames of yours!"
"Oh righhhttttt as if I'm going to do that" Kartik scoffed
"You have to!" She said pointing her pinky finger at him angrily
He looked at her finger, twirled it with his own and leaned closer towards her face "Pinky promise...I won't stop calling you nicknames" He replies with his cheeky grin.
Ayesha almost grunted , pulled her finger back and sat away from him as the others started leaving the room.
"The annual function is in two weeks, we need to start practicing fast" Kartik facted , now being a little more composed.
"Yeah which song?"
"Let's do zaalima" He said as he had heard her singing this song.
"Kartik have you ever met the human version of a headache?" Ayesha asked
Confused Kartik shook his head
She nodded and said ''I have, now" and she walked out of the room.
As Kartik finally realised what she had meant by that statement he couldn't help but scoff and walk off from the room himself . As he walked off he pictured him and Ayesha singing together, it gave a weird fluttering feeling to his heart as he tried to ignore it.

Ayesha and Aarvi were roaming around when they saw Ishi in the field putting some ointment on her leg. Scared, they ran over to check on her.
''Ishi, how did this happen?" Aarvi panicked
"Are vo...I fell while playing basketball " Ishi casually replied
Ayesha being down to check her leg as she took the ointment from her and glared at Ishi.
"What?" Ishi asked
