Blaze was Natsu's enemy. Since they both used fire they tried to one-up each other constantly. So when Blaze walked into Fairy Tail ready to join the guild, Natsu almost lost his head.
As the door to the guild flung open, everyone turned their heads to see who was going to walk in. Natsu was sitting at his usual table with Happy sitting by him, waiting for something new and exciting to happen. That's when he saw a boy walk in, with a lighter in his pocket, and a look in his eye that said he was more powerful than most. Natsu's eyes narrowed as he recognized Blaze.
Blaze ignored his rival and went straight to Mirajane. Everyone in the guild knew Blaze as Natsu's rival, but they were shocked when he asked Mirajane to accept him into the guild.
Mirajane's eyes widened as she heard Blaze's words, her jaw dropping slightly. She was well aware of the bad blood between Natsu and Blaze, so accepting Blaze into the guild was unexpected, to say the least. The whole guild went silent, watching Mirajane and waiting for her response.
Finally, Mirajane smiled softly and nodded, she got out her magic stamp tool and gently pressed it on Blaze's right hand. The red symbol was confirmation that he was in the guild and Blaze couldn't help but smirk, his cold demeanor breaking for one second as a smug look appeared.
The whole guild seemed shocked by Mirajane's decision, especially Natsu. He jumped up from his seat, his hands clenched into fists."What the hell, Mirajane? You're really going to let him join?" he shouted, his eyes locked on Blaze's smug grin.
Blaze rolled his eyes and calmly walked over to Natsu, his green eyes piercing into Natsu's. "Don't get mad at her, little dragon, if you have a problem with it talk to the guild master." Blaze's sharp and rude comment only made Natsu angry.
Natsu's eyes widened, anger and frustration welling up inside of him. He clenched his fists tighter, sparks flying from them as his emotions flared."Little dragon? You think you're so tough, don't you?" Natsu retorted, his voice rising in volume. "I have a problem with it, alright. You don't belong here. This is my guild."
