Protag: Luke Silverheart
~
Lucy was with Natsu and Happy, talking whilst eating their breakfast at the guild. That's when the dashing young Luke Silverheart came into the guild, waving at everyone as they called to him. He was very close to everyone at the guild, treating them like family. He was known as the silver-eyed Earl of Fairy Tail and was highly respected. Lucy's heartbeat quickened as Luke looked over at her with a smile. He quickly made his way to her and sat down. "Good morning, Lucy and Natsu."
Wendy and Carla arrived with a delicious spread of food, and Wendy's face lit up with joy when she saw Luke. "HI!" she exclaimed. Luke returned her excitement with a warm smile and rose to embrace her. He had always looked out for her like a protective older brother, and he adored Carla in the same way. Luke quickly pulled out Wendy's seat and as she sat he pushed her chair in as to align with the table.
Lucy smiled as she watched Luke interact with Wendy. It was obvious that he cared for her deeply. Natsu chuckled, nudging her with his elbow. "You're staring," he teased her. Lucy's cheeks reddened, and she quickly averted her gaze, busying herself with her food.
As they sat down to savor their meals, the friends engaged in lively conversation covering a wide range of topics. Eventually, the discussion turned to the subject of family, prompting Lucy to inquire about Luke's own family background. Initially hesitant to share, Luke eventually opened up, feeling it was only fair after learning about Lucy's upbringing with her father and her decision to run from home. He told the group about his loving parents, Alice and Reynald, and how they used to be fairy tail mages.
Natsu listened intently, munching on a mouthful of food as Luke spoke. Lucy leaned in slightly, her curiosity piqued. She knew little about Luke's past, and the pieces were starting to come together.
After breakfest Natsu left to go explore the quest board with Wendy and Happy, Lucy stayed behind to talk to Luke. "I'd love to meet your family!" She suddenly blurted out. A wave of embarrassed took over her but after a few seconds of silence Luke replied. "Maybe I'll take you." Lucy was ecstatic about the idea.
Lucy's heart skipped a beat at his words. The thought of meeting his family suddenly felt like a big deal, and she couldn't help but wonder what they would be like. She glanced down at her hands, fidgeting with the edge of her shirt. "I'd love that," she replied, trying to sound cool and collected, though her voice shook slightly with excitement.

As the train rumbled beneath them, Lucy found herself silently stealing glances at Luke. He was staring out the window, his sharp features illuminated by the passing scenery. She couldn't shake the feeling that something was different about him today. Taking a deep breath, she finally spoke.
"Are you nervous about introducing me to your parents?"
"I have to admit its been awhile since I've done this. But don't you worry I'm fine."
"I'm not worried," Lucy reassured him, though there was a hint of nervousness in her own voice. She fidgeted with the hem of her dress, her mind racing. "I just hope they like me," she admitted.
The train stopped and they left shortly after. "My parent's friend should be here to pick us up." Luke stared through the crowd until his eyes landed on a lanky man in all black. He was next to a fancy car and Luke quickly grabbed Lucy, walking her to the man. Without a word, he opened the door for Lucy, went to the other side and sitting down.
Lucy shot a quick glance at Luke before climbing into the car. The leather seat was cool against her skin, and she couldn't help but notice the luxurious interior of the car. The man in black closed the door behind them and walked around to the driver's side. As the car pulled away from the curb, Lucy's heart fluttered with anticipation and nerves.
The car ride was short, but every minute felt like an hour to Lucy. She kept stealing glances at Luke, trying to gauge his mood. He seemed perfectly calm, not nervous at all. Meanwhile, her stomach was in knots. The car finally pulled up a long, gravel pathway and came to a stop in front of a grand estate.
Lucy's mouth dropped open as she took in the sight of the huge mansion. The garden was immaculate and well kept, with an array of vibrant flowers and lush greenery. She couldn't help but feel awestruck by the elegant fountain at the centre of it all. As they stepped out of the car, she turned to Luke. "Your parents live here?" she asked, her voice a whisper.
"Indeed they do."
Lucy followed Luke up the front steps, her eyes wide as she took in every detail of the mansion's exterior. The front door was made of rich mahogany, with delicate carvings etched into it.
Luke pushes open the great doors and walks Lucy inside.
The interior was just as impressive as the exterior. Intricate tapestries hung on the walls, and a sweeping staircase led up to the upper level. The floor was made of shiny oak wood and a lush ruby carpet ran along the centre. Lucy stood still, her eyes darting around, taking it all in.
They walked into the dinning room where voices could be heard. Immediately, Luke's parents turned to them with big smiles.
Luke's parents stood up from the table as they entered, their eyes immediately fixed on Luke and Lucy. They looked like a happy couple.
"Luke, you made it," Alice exclaimed, moving around the table towards them.
Alice and Reynald hugged their son tight before giving attention to the blonde next to him. "And you must be Lucy! So good to meet you." Alice gave her a warm smile before ushering them down to sit.
Lucy found it hard not to like Luke's mother. Her warm smile and welcoming manner immediately put her at ease. She took a seat next to Luke, her heart still pounding with nerves. She could feel his parents' eyes on her, studying her every move.
"Luke's told us so much about you," Reynald mused, leaning back in his chair. Luke shot him a warning look, which his father ignored. "All good things, I assure you," he added with a wink. His mother chuckled softly, hiding her smile behind a small cough.
Lucy blushed slightly, feeling a rush of embarrassment and pleasure. She glanced over at Luke, who was giving his father a look that said, "Shut up."
His mother placed a hand on her husband's arm, gently chiding him, "Reynald. Behave yourself." Luke's mother then turned back to Lucy, her eyes filled with curiosity. "So, tell us a bit about yourself, dear," she said, her voice warm and inviting.
They spent hours chatting over tea and Lucy was shocked to learn that Luke's parents were not only fairy tail mages but very powerful ones. But soon it got dark and even with Alice begging them to stay the night, they soon left for the train, but not without a loving goodbye.
As they said their goodbyes, Luke's parents embraced them both, and his mother kissed Lucy on the cheek. "You're always welcome here," she said, her eyes filled with genuine affection. Luke seemed to relax as they made their way back to the car and Lucy suddenly felt relieved. The evening had been wonderful, and her nerves had faded away.
