KENJI'S PURPLE EYES ZONED IN ON THE INTERVIEWER SAT ACROSS FROM HIM, HIS FINGERS TAPPING AGAINST HIS KNEE BOUNCING A BIT, AS HE WAS WEARING A FORMAL OUTFIT FOR THE TV SCREEN. He had a sling around his other arm that was broken from the fight, and had a few more scraps and marks here and there over his tanned skin, some being hard to see since his clothes mostly covered them.
"After a challenging season, you proved the skeptics wrong," Ami's voice flowed through his ears next, brining the males attention away from the jewellery that laid on his finger, "brought the team together, and rallied the Giants to their first championship title in years. That's gotta feel good."
He chuckled a bit which made his shoulders move, and glanced down at the carpet below them, "I can't take the credit." He humbles himself, shaking his head as he fondly thinks about his teammates, "It was this team, these guys. I'm just happy to be a part of it."
His mind drifted back to when he first made an appearance after the bomb accident, himself dressed up in his jersey and team cap, as his arm was still in the sling. The crowd cheers all around the stadium, as he walked down the dugout with a small smile.
All the players either gently slap him on the back or his uninjured shoulder, both greeting him and saying they were happy he was back. His purple gaze goes all along his team, before his gaze softened drastically spotting his beloved waiting for him near the end.

She giggled a bit at this, being careful of his broken arm and slipped her arms around his neck, pressing her cheek flushed against his.
He kept her close to his side when he ended up near the coach, all three of them watching the final hit of the game against the opponents. And as soon as the bat makes contact with the ball, the entire stadium broke out into cheering yells for the Giants, as they had scored another home-run hit.
