"It's today then!" Ishaan asked Diya. They were finally in talking terms again.

"It is today!! Kiran came last night and Dada too.... I have told my family about everything and Dada and Kiran wanted to be with me during the hearing." She told Ishaan.

"Are they going to stay?" Ishaan questioned.

"Kiran might! She has the convenience of working at home so.... Dada will leave in the evening...." Diya told.

"Ohk! I wish I was there with you but you know how it is.... Something important came up..." Ishaan said.

"You never told me what came up... Is everything okay... You said you will be back in two days but...." Diya asked.

"Diya when the time comes I will tell you... You have to trust me... Do you trust me... Everything I do is because I am really in love with you and I want to give you the world. You deserve the world..." He said. Diya felt something scary in the way he spoke.

"Whenever you say things like that I get scared Ishaan... Besides I don't want world I want peace of mind... And I have already told you Ishaan... I am ready to take a step forward with you, once this divorce is settled but let's not take things so fast.... I am still not over a bad marriage." Diya said.

"I want you to get free from that Arjun and then I will make you believe about my feelings and then I will be able to tell the world about you.... And you will not hesitate to accept me." Ishaan said. Whenever Ishaan said things like that Diya always felt a sting in her heart and troubled.

Kiran who was looking at Diya while she was on the call asked her if she was okay.

"It was Ishaan's call right?" Kiran said.

"Hmmm!" Diya told him what he said. She told him that this wasn't the first time he said anything like that. Sometimes she felt as if Ishaan has made it some kind of competition and He just wants to show Arjun that I was his and he was keeping me happy.

"Does he... Keeps you happy?" Kiran asked.

"He tries...." Diya said. With uncertainty in her voice.

"Why the uncertainty?" Kiran asked.

"I am not uncertain... I am...." Diya just never understood the feeling.

"It's because you are rushing into this relationship too quickly.... You just wantbto show Arjun that you too have found someone and he is not the only one who is moving forward." Kiran said.

"That's not true! Why would I want to prove anything to Arjun!" Diya didn't like what she heard.

"To hurt him...." Kiran didn't waste a second to reply.
"Because deep in your heart you know he has developed feelings for you."

"Arjun. Don't. Love. Me!! This is the last time I am telling you this Kiran!" Diya was fed up with Kiran telling her that Arjun wasn't a bad guy and she should atleast listen to him. While she too had ther doubts about Ishaan's intentions, just like Diya's mother.

"You two are impossible!" Diya said. It was more like an unintended insult but Kiran ignored it.

"He is hiding something! And I feel you are not safe around him...." Kiran said.

"Kiran..... I am done talking about how Ishaan is not a good man but Arjun was....." Before Diya could say further, Kiran corrected her.

"I am not saying Arjun is a good man but...." Diya stopped her inbetween.

" We are just going round and round and I don't think it's ever going to stop. Let's just leave I don't want to be late for the hearing." Diya said picking up her bag.

Arjun was already there when she reached. He looked so handsome in his simple light blue linen shirt and navy trousers. His shirt wasn't tucked in giving him a casual, relaxed look. The way he looked made Diya realised why she was in so much love with him. He was indeed a very good looking man. He was with his lawyer Jayesh and he was really a good lawyer.

Diya herself was dressed in a light lemon yellow linen saree with thin lace border and sleevless blouse stood opposite to Arjun and was waiting for her lawyer. Kiran and Diya was standing side by side and facing Arjun. Diya could feel his eyes in her, making her uncomfortable.

"He is looking at you!" Kiran whispered, in avery low voice so that Arjun won't listen.
"Stop looking at him!" Diya's eyes widened in shock to realise that Kiran was literally staring at him.

Arjun who couldn't hear them, read their lip making him smile.

"Why? He is looking at you like.... Like he would eat you alive.... Let me just talk to him... I will warn...." Kiran was ready to charge.... How dare this man hurt her best friend and now give her looks like that.

"No please!" Diya grabbed her hand super quick.
"Let all of this end peacefully. I don't want any trouble." Diya pleaded.
It was then her lawyer came. His name was Ratan Singh Shekhawat, he was a good lawyer when it comes to divorce cases.

"I am sorry I got late. Actually I have a 7 year old daughter and she is..... Hurricane...." He smiled.
"Don't worry Ms Diya! We will get you justice." He said when he noticed Diya looking in Arjun's direction again and again.

"Let's go in... It's time!" Ratan said.

"Judge Mirza is an amazing lady but usually don't allow divorce so easily. So don't panick okay!" Ratan said as they walked towards the court room.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Arjun held her by arm and pulled her closer slightly so that he could whisper in her ear.

"Let go!" Diya tried to free herself.
"Don't create a scene Arjun!"

"The divorce isn't happening Diya! You could have talked to me before doing all of this." Arjun said.

"I feel disgust in talking to you... Let go Arjun, or I will file a case of harassment too." Making Arjun smirk proudly.

"I am proud of you Diya. Not taking bullshit from anyone even if it is me.... You have no idea how happy you made me." Arjun smiled at her.

"Let go Arjun.... This could be bad for us!" His lawyer said.

"Okay!" Judge Mirza said as she entered the room. "Let's begin! Please sit." She said looking at Ratan and Jayesh and gestured them to start.

"Good morning your honour... How are you Today!" Jayesh begins.

"Jayesh! Cut off the formality! What are you doing here... A criminal lawyer in family court!" She joked.

"My client needed me ma'am! I am his lawyer and I Will represent him!" Jayesh replied politely.

"Good morning your honour!" Ratan said politely. After sharing genral pleasentaries Ratan started with the case.
"My client Ms.Diya Pradhan is asking for a divorce on legal grounds from her husband Mr Arjun Punj. He has been unfaithful to her and always had a relationship with another woman. Recently Mr Punj's girl partner told Diya that Mr Punj and she are getting engaged offivi8to be married soon. Ms Diya and Mr. Punj never had a happy marriage now Ms Diya want to get separated and start over. When asked for the divorce earlier Mr Punj teared the papers and refused to divorce her. "Your honour.... My client isn't willing to give divorce and really want to give this marriage another chance!" Jayesh said.
