on your kitchen counter sat a small bouquet of flowers in a vase. next to it sat a note which read, 'happy one month baby.' you stared at the assortment of roses, orange tulips, yellow tulips, bleeding hearts, and gardenia.

you ran to google, trying to find what the roses meant. of course, they meant love and all of the things under that umbrella. Carrington always found unique ways to tell you he loves you without saying it too early on in the relationship. you wished he was there so you could kiss and hug him as a way of thanking him for the cute gift.

you found an article on the orange tulips. supposedly, they meant 'understanding and appreciation,' you blushed at the meaning. was Carrington trying to tell you he appreciated you? maybe he understand what your going through, or maybe he understand your love for him? a small smile grew on your face as you moved on to the next flower.

the yellow tulips were probably your favorite flower out of all of them. 'there's sunshine in your smile,' you read. Carrington always expressed how much he loved your smile and how much he loved being the one that made you smile. you couldn't help but grin at the cheesy, yet so thoughtful gesture.

the bleeding hearts became your new favorite as soon as you read the meaning. they have a 'strong meaning of love and romance.' or so it said. they were a loud reminder that Carrington was truly committed to you and only you.

you discovered the gardenias meant 'you're lovely.' you felt your heart melting on the spot. the gorgeous white flowers, and the rest of them, made you so happy you could've died right then and there.

in reality, Carrington gave them to you just because he thought they were beautiful.
