I D.O - kyungsoo (part 1)

From the province, your family decided to move to the city since your father was transferred to work on one of their company's branches located there. Even though you don't agree with the plan, you have no choice but to accept and follow your family.

You are really sad about leaving but since you don't have a choice you prepared yourself as well as your bestfriends. You have two bestfriends and on are also friends with almost all of your batch mates. All of you considered yourselves as family, you being their baby sister even though you're not the youngest in your batch. This is due to the fact that you're the smallest but the cutest in your batch. Being the baby sister of the batch also has its perks, you've been pampered and taken cared of and that means no one had dared to bully you. Thinking about this things added to the burden of leaving the province, practically your comfort zone. You decided to break the news to your besties before the end of the school year. You asked them to stay behind with you after school. Although they are curious about what is the reason why you want to talk to them, they agreed and decided to leave the questions for later. After classes ended...

Your [(*'.'*)]POV

"so, (*'.'*) what's up? " angel asked.

"...." i think i can't bear to tell them this news without me breaking into tears.

"Why do i have this feeling that what you are going to tell us was not good. Do we really have to hear it" Janine eyed me cautiously.

"As much as I don't want to, I have to. "I told them avoiding their stares.

"shoot. " angel said.

"g-guys, you know how m-much I want to be with you u-until we finished college r-right. huk.." i stuttered along with the first drop of tear that fell from my left eye, indeed a tear of sadness.

"Yes, we know that and we promised each other that we'll stay together. Why are you suddenly bringing that up? And why are you crying? " angel stared at me with furrowed eyebrows.

"G-gel... J-jan... i-i'm leaving. M-my parents decided to move to the city s-since father was assigned their. I hate to say this but i think this is goodbye. " i cried nonstop while explaining to them.

"....." angel and Janine just stood there frozen unable to utter a word I think because of disappointment and shock. Soon the three of us are crying our hearts out. I know saying goodbye is the hardest thing to do especially if it's with the people you've been with since forever and considered family. Sure, we can still contact each other through texts and SNS but i know everything will never be the same again. After the long chat, few hugs, crying over sharing memories and bonding we decided to call it a day and went home. We decided that we will enjoy the rest of our vacation together since our family will be leaving before the beginning of the school year. They promised to send me off and we decided that we will just meet at our house to say our farewell there.

-FAST FORWARD(departure)-

After so much crying and promises to stay in touch, we bade goodbye to each other. While our car is moving i felt like my heart is left behind and I can't get it back without staying there. I can't help but silently cry over the feeling of loss. I felt a hand caressing my shoulder.

"(*'.'*), it's okay you'll get through this. We'll get through this together. You are amazing, I'm sure you'll get a new set of friends in no time. Don't worry too much." mom said.

I just smiled at her to assure her I'm okay. I felt a tap on my shoulder and notice my little brother smiling brightly at me.

"noona, don't worry I am always here for you "Thank you, minhyuk. I really appreciate it." and smiled at him.
