The Rose

to the Wedding...

Before even the wedding itself, Rose and Tom took some time to make their relationship progress with some love.

Years passed after that and now Rose and Tom were ready for marriage.

At first was the organization of the wedding. Rose and Tom invited a lot of guests from many other kingdoms and nations.

The wedding was going well so far. It was one of the largest wedding in history of Kingdoms of Rosalve and Aloska.

The wedding itself happened at the border between Kingdoms of Aloska and Rosalve.

Now, again, i could explain everything, but i think its best if i show you what happened.

At the church, people waiting for the entrance procession to start.

First, four priests and some ministers procession to the altar. Before that, they ringed a bell two times as everyone stands up. Organist plays a lovely music to add to the beauty of the wedding, while a violinist also adds a beautiful song. 

Then, other members of the wedding party, such as close friends to Rose and Tom, came to sit in the first row of the benches.

After that, came two witnesses (Rose's uncle and Tom's aunt). 

Next, come the groom and bride themselves, accompanied by their parents. Rose and Tom sit on the place in front of altar, a little father away.

After a while, priests begins the mass with a sign of the cross.

- In the name of the father and the son and of the holy spirit - said one of the priests.

Everyone does a sign of the cross.

The liturgy begin with a collect prayer of praise where it turns into petition that introduces everyone to wedding.

The priest goes to the pulpit and says one of the reads.

- A reading from the book of Genesis, from the holy scripture that one delivered: For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh - read the priest.

After this, priest read yet another reading.

- A reading from the first letter to the Corinthians, from the holy scripture that one delivered: Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up - reads the priest.

- A reading from the gospel of St. Matthew, from the holy scripture that one delivered: His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry. But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, save they to whom it is given - speaks the priest.

Now, what happened after the priest's words is what happens after every mass before wedding ceremony.

So, to not bore you with the details, we skip to the moment where Rose and Tom stand before a priest. They get asked introductory questions, then consent, next they do reception of consent, and then get the blessing and exchange golden rings.

- You shall now be united under last name of Calstant. I now pronounce you husband and wife - spoke the priest.

After that, Rose and Tom kiss, as everyone applauds. 

Rose and Tom, now wife and husband, walk down the church's hallway while everyone continues to applaud.

King Alexander run up to Rose and Tom.

- Im so happy for you two! - said King Alexander as he tears up in joy and hold Rose's hands.

Then, King Alexander hugs Tom.
