The Rose

...and to the End

So, now what? Is there something else that happened after Tom's revival? Well, a lot, actually.

The resurrection of Tom really changed his mind, so he quit begin the highest general of the army. Instead, Tom promoted an another general to take his position.

Now he wants to spend more time with Rose, because another chance at resurrection will definitely not happen.

Rose and Tom were siting in the dining room, eating some fine dining in the morning.

Suddenly, two masked military men entered the dining room. They were not from the army of Kingdom of Tova.

- HEY! - shouted one of the men. They point their modern-looking guns at Rose and Tom. 

Tom and Rose are surprised by this. They immediately stand up.

The soldiers forcefully take Rose and Tom to nearest wall and command them to stay there or else they will be killed.

Rose and Tom don't know what's going on. Are they trying to hold them hostage?

- Why are you doing this? - asked Tom.

- SHUT UP. None asked you to speak. Stay silent or die! - replied loudly one of the soldiers.

Hours pass after that, and more soldiers arrived to the room. Most of them pointed their guns at Rose and Tom.

- Is our lady coming here? - asked one of the soldiers to other soldier.

Other replied with simple "yes".

- Just like it was planned - added the other soldier.

Then, Rose and Tom hear someone walking on what seems to be high heels. The sound comes through an open door. 

Some of the soldiers bow to the door, while others keep pointing their guns at Rose an Tom.

Next, a tall lady wearing a red dress, high heels and lipstick enters the room. She has a black, straight hair, and has a serious face expression. She is accompanied by two guards who look the same as soldiers.

Tom immediately recognized the lady.

- YOU! - said Tom.

The lady made a smirk.

- Ah yes, "King" Tom. You would have never believed i would take a step on your territory - said the lady.

Rose asked who she is.

- Oh yes! I forgot to introduce myself. I am Jolia. That lady who your stupid husband propagandized to your nation to be your worst enemy - said the lady to Rose. Jolia's voice is generally annoying to listen to.

- Anyways, im here for something your idiotic personnel revealed to me you have, and that belongs to me - said Jolia.

- What do you mean?! Just let us go! - exclaimed Rose at Jolia.

- Not without what's mine. Let me show you who shared me this information! - said Jolia as she points at the door to the room.

From there, the medic walks to the room, with two soldiers pointing their guns at her.

- Im sorry, Queen Rose, but they have my family! - said the medic as she is pushed by the soldiers.

- Now, give me the rose - angrily said Jolia, through her teeth.

Before she did anything, Rose asked her something.

- Why are you doing this? - asked Rose.

Jolia clacked quickly.

- What? Oh right, you want an explanation? Let me tell you that - said Jolia.

- Decades ago, one of my personel stole the rose from me and buried it in the garden of former Kingdom of Aloska - explained Jolia.

- Remember Miss Adams? Yes, she was the one who stole it from me! - added Jolia.

Jolia said that she is now going to take what's hers.

- What are you going to do? - asks worried Rose.

- You will see - replies Jolia.

- Guards! Tie them up and separate the "queen" from the "king" - commanded Jolia at the soldiers.

The soldiers did as they were told. Jolia stood a little father away from Tom, ready to do something that Rose will not forget.

Jolia used some sort of magic that created a glowing, vertical circle that floated above the ground. With some movements of her hands she created a spell, probably a powerful one.

The spell made Tom's chest glow with golden light. Jolia continued the spell and slowly extracted the rose from Tom's body.

The moment rose got out, Tom started to feel tired and felt like that uncurable disease he had is coming back to kill him this time.

- NOO!! - shouted Rose.

Jolia commanded soldiers to untie Rose. She ran towards dying Tom.

The flower floated towards Jolia. She grabed the flower and smelled it.

- Finally, after all the years, you're mine again - said Jolia.

Tom cough a lot of blood. Rose couldn't help but cry while looking at her dying husband.

- Why.....? - asked crying Rose.

Jolia made a smirk again, and a soldier handed her a gun.

- Bye! - said Jolia as she made a bye gesture and shot Rose.

Fastforward to later, Jolia went on the balcony of the palace and announced, to the people, that King Tom and Queen Rose are dead. The "rebellion" against them was successful, and that now people are free from the "evil" monarchy.

Jolia's soldiers made people believe this propaganda, with Jolia creating a new nation that replaced the Kingdom of Tora: Republic of Tora.

And the rest is history...
