The second day at the UA, the students of Class 1-A had their normal classes in the morning, then ate lunch in their respective groups in the cafeteria.
In the cafeteria, Jaisen, Midoriya, Uraraka, and Iida were sitting nearby, eating their meals. Like the others around him, Jaisen was about to eat the pork cutlet he had bought. However, he was facing a certain problem.
Jaisen: (I don't know how to use "chopsticks"...)
Jaisen had no idea how to use chopsticks. This was because eating with chopsticks was not a culture in Yharnam, where he lived. In the first place, he was clutching (eating?) the umbilical cord with his bare hands, so it was doubtful whether there were even proper utensils there. He tried to grab rice with the chopsticks many times, but the rice just kept spilling off the chopsticks.

Midoriya: "...You don't know how to use chopsticks?"
Jaisen nodded awkwardly.
Uraraka: "Come to think of it, you're a foreigner, aren't you? Your name doesn't sound Japanese."
Uraraka asked curiously as she skillfully used the chopsticks to pick up some food.
Jaisen: "Yeah, I'm a foreigner. Where I was from, there is no culture of chopstick use."
Iida: "If you're having trouble using chopsticks, go get a spoon and fork. They were in a box near the entrance to the cafeteria."
Jaisen: "Oh, that's where they were. Thank you."
After thanking Iida for his thoughtfulness, Jaisen left his seat to get a spoon and fork. When he returned to his seat, he immediately cut up the pork cutlet with the spoon and put it in his mouth with the fork.
Jaisen: !!!!!
Jaisen was surprised at how delicious it was, and began eating it enthusiastically. The texture of the pork cutlet and the juicy pork were something very new to him.
Jaisen: (This might be the first time I've ever eaten something so delicious!!!)
Before he knew it, he had finished the pork cutlet.
